Rare Morning (Patreon)

In my headworld it's almost always night time, but sometimes the sun rises! I have conflicting lore for this. One story is that Su, one of their gods, can only spare the sun occasionally because it's busy keeping the next crop of spirits warm. Another is that a cat named First Light only relinquishes the light when it feels its safe.

Maybe it's both.

Whatever the case, it's hard to predict when the sun is going to rise next. Familiars are often the first to know. Lost spirits will sit outside their Hamlets and cry. When the spirits go quiet, sunrise follows within a day. They post a light to let the surrounding villages know.
