Hodd's Road and Waystations (Patreon)

It seems to me that Patreon is going to become an incentive to draw more headworld stuff that I probably wouldn't have gotten around to for a while otherwise. Thank y'all for that!I talk about Hodd's road in my headworld a lot, but it isn't one road. It's mostly pre-existing roads that were revitalized and form a network. When Hodd was around trade was safer and easier, and travel happened more often.

Waystations sprouted up around these roads to offer beds and safety. Some of them are defensible forts, many now abandoned, but many were just houses offering hospitality either for a small fee or religious reasons.If you're traveling in the Cat's Way you want to be picky where you camp. All kinds of nasty things like to hang out in the dark.
