Astria Camping (Patreon)

"Astria - Tinkering (lo-fi girl style)" won the art poll!

This was an interesting poll to put together. My characters tend to have fun hobbies that work well for this kind of thing and Astria has a lot of those. She loves the idea of exploring, especially if it involves flying. That said, she's still learning and her story has always had her crash landing on a fantasy-inspired (with elves n such) world.

For this picture, I felt it would be fun to have Astria trying to fix some kind of translator device while camping at the entrance of a cave. One of my main interests was in playing with color of her being lit by the fire. I don't typically do much of this so it was a good challenge. The picture came together fairly smoothly with some time spent doing color adjustments at the end. If you'd like to see my process, check out the attached timelapse!

Anyhow, thanks again for your support, everyone! If you want to suggest characters for the next art poll, I'll be setting up suggestions over on Discord!
