This is where the controversies begin... Rizzo does NOT think Toy Story 2 is better than Toy Story 1... *GASP!* Thankfully Benji DOES think that, so you Toy Story 2 lovers have someone representing! Hopefully my grumbling isn't toooo annoying, even though I ultimately DO like this film (but when the alcohol's flowing, the controversial opinions are abundant!)...

As much as I like the franchise, I find Toy Story 2 just ok. I liked we got Jessie & bullseye but yeah, it’s just a ok sequel to me personally. P.s.: I love the bloopers for this movie 😂

I'm kind of a combo of both of you, Toy Story wasn't really my thing growing up but I definitely like the first one better than the second - I don't care so much about the new characters and it's a crime to keep Buzz and Woody apart for so much of it when their whole dynamic is what made the first one great. Thanks for posting all of these at once, watching Rizzo watch movies he loves this much is super fun!

I think I loved that the second was a logical follow up. They're not worried about being replaced anymore but the thought of your kid outgrowing you was an elephant in the room that was fun to explore. As a girl it was nice to see a proper girl character in this series that wasn't JUST a love interest, mom, or sister character. Jesse might've been annoying but at least she had a proper arch. Despite that I do agree the first is structurally superior -- it's the classic buddy comedy. The second is a really good follow up and you can tell they had fun with it. SO quotable -- The end bloopers are SO iconic. My girl group used to do the last barbie bit to each other all the time! After this movie my interest really dwindled...haven't seen 4 still and 5 and beyond doesn't really interest me. I'll probably watch 3 yet with you all just cause I do think it made for a nice trilogy. I wish they would've stopped there. I don't know how they could ever wrap it up in a satisfying way -- I remember crying at the end of 3! To keep going like this just feels like another fake out - they've managed to deflate that emotional balloon for me.

I don’t think Jesse is annoying anymore! She’s my favorite character now and I wish my dad hadn’t rubbed off on me 😭

I have to disagree with both of you guys. I was one of those kids that thought the movies got better and better lol Even though I have some issues with the 4th one, I genuinely liked every one. Even til this day. I usually avoided rewatching the emotional movies as a kid because I was sensitive, but I really loved Jessie and I liked how all the characters banded together to save Woody. It's sweet

I'm with Benji. Toy Story was never really my thing, but TS2 was the one I rewatched as a child. Looking back I think its largely cuz I thought TS1's animation was inferior. Also I never really cared about Buzz or his story in TS1.
