####### EPISODE SPOILER REVIEW BELOW! APPARENTLY SOME OF YOU ARE WATCHING FOR THE FIRST TIME ALONG SIDE ME, SO PLEASE DON'T READ BEYOND THIS POINT UNTIL YOU HAVE SEEN THE EPISODE YOURSELF! ######

------

This was a GREAT one!! Really liked Bethany as a character! I know I predict characters 'coming back' a lot, but I would love to see her again! That being said, I do think we cover her entire story here in a really great way.

JEEZ, WESLEY!! Thanks for taking the subtle approach when it comes to exposing her trauma!?!

It is always great to see Holland, because somehow he makes it possible to somehow feel empathy for other Wolfram and Hart members (at least for me).

Cordie is once again excellent in this, and has a brilliant heart to heart with Bethany, just before instantly retracting it and saying she should keep squishing people! XD

Arguably the best of the season so far?? Can't wait to read your reviews of it! :)

... I also predict the final line of the episode. XD

Hope you guys are having a great week!

As always, if you click the video just after this post, you may need to  download it first.  This should be fixed in a couple of hours!

Discretion, Veggie, not digression! But thanks for the warning. Angel really is darker than Buffy... I don't think there's mutual respect between Wolfram & Hart and Angel...Angel just knows they aren't strong enough to take on the company directly, and W&H are using psychological warfare rather than physical which, in my opinion, is quite underhanded and cowardly.

Mr. Bill is a clay figurine star of a parody of children's movies shows created by Walter Williams in 1974.[1][2] The Mr. Bill showing got its start on Saturday Night Live as a series of Super 8 films sent in response to the show's request for home movies during the first season.[3] Mr. Bill's first appearance occurred on the February 28, 1976 episode.[citation needed] After five submitted films, Williams became a full-time writer for the show in 1978 and wrote more than 20 sketches based on Mr. Bill.-Wikipedia

The Hyperion Hotel, as we learned in "Are You Now, or Have You Ever Been-" has 68 rooms.

One of the references I actually got, because funnily enough, one of my high school teachers was a big Mr. Bill fan and brought in a VHS tape full of Mr. Bill sketches lol. The main point is that he always got squashed.

Bethany was, unfortunately, a one-and-done character. I agree with you that she would have made an outstanding recurring or regular character.

I really like this one too. It’s a great example of how Angel tackles more adult subject matter than Buffy. Just a super solid ep, and Bethany is a great actor.

I think it's great that you want to see so many characters again, it means their portrayals really stick with you and that their part of the whole feels important. This is definitely the type of episode that illustrates how different Angel (the show) is from Buffy in tackling something this dark this seriously. Great reaction.
