SPOILER ALERT! - If you have not watched the show before, don't read the following review until you have! :)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My GOODNESS, they fitted a lot of stuff into this one!

Wow, the way Jet's character has gone is such a shock to me. We will see if this is.. really it (no spoilers, plz ;) )!

Iroh and Zuko... one of by favourite scenes in the entire show so far!

And the ending? I definitely did NOT see that coming!! XD

Hope you had a great week, guys!!

Yes same I tears up with irohs speech "who are you and what do you want?" Hits everytime. I dont blame iroh for accepting his own tea shop, I mean its a good buisness decision when you already went as far as you could at a shop.

Thank god we get our sweet baby Appa back 🥺😭

I've had whippets all my live and right now I have a greyhound and he's the gentlest sweetest dog ever! They're so special ❤️ From here on out the episodes are just peak after peak after peak.. so good!

You know you fucked up when Iroh raises his voice and gets direct! That scene is so freaking good. It makes me feel bad for Zuko and I want to give him a hug, but I agree with Iroh 100% and Zuko needs to hear this, but I don't like confrontation especially between people who love each other, and it makes me feel scolded and I want to apologize to Iroh for my shortcomings... I truly cannot imagine there is someone who loves or looks up to Azula. Like, I love her as a character, she is an amazing villain! But she's awful - Zuko had a redeemable quality about him pretty much from the start, Azula is just awful... But it's funny, I had issues with most female characters. Which isn't a bad thing - they're complex. Mei and Tai Lee are hilarious, but obviously they have their issues. Katara is an awsome character, but she did sometimes get on my nerves with her occasional high-and-mightiness. Toph is one of my favourites, but I did get annoyed sometimes that she tends to purposefully go against everything that is "female" and society based, even if she actually liked it or it would help her (she's 12, it's fine!) But then there's Suki! Even though I was a tad older than all of them when this came out (like 17? I think?), I genuinly looked up to her. And I'm with Sokka: that woman is awsome, I would want to romance her too! Yey for Vox and M9!!! I knew it would probably be happening one day, but this makes it feel it's sooner than anticipated 🤩 Yeah, last episode really makes you think about the unknown when pets get lost or you adopt and don't know the whole history. You've talked a bit about where Wooz comes from, but that just breaks my heart! And she very obviously is such a sweet soul!!! Thankfully she's in a home now where she's loved and safe and cuddled and blanket-burritod when it's cold

Iroh shouting is absolutely one of my favourite scenes in Avatar as well. Just sleechless. Your emotion make me relive this show with new intensity. What an amazing *influencer* you are, Veggie ;)

Ranking Book 2 episodes from best to worst is almost impossible. From "The Blind Bandit" (Toph's introduction) onward they are all A or S tier episodes.

this episode is pure bliss, but definitely bitter-sweet

When Iroh gets mad, I shut my ass up and listen.

when Longshot pulls his arrow out after Jet is injured, he's guarding the other door. Longshot is just the quiet stoic type I guess, which makes his one line that much more powerful Jet says "I'll be fine", and Toph says "He's lying" >>> SORT OF SPOILER <<< (it's never really talked about again, so I'm not certain it's a spoiler, but here's your warning) . . . . Although the original script (supposedly) had something much darker happen with that arrow. Long story short: Jet's gone man, I'll be outside. (Black Hawk Down reference, if you don't know)

Now for the rest of the show, so so many heart palpitations lol

In response to a coupleof things u said: "I cant keep saying these are my favourite episode every week" - we warned you buddy "That was one of my favourite avatar the last airbender scenes" - i 100% agree "Did long feng actually kill him" - you know, it was really unclear

Iroh is certainly a loyal fellow, but not at the expense of his own dreams and aspirations, not for his boss (for whom he hasn't even worked very long). Looking at this with fresh eyes, it's clear that he knows exactly "who he is and what he wants" and lives his life in accordance with those truths (now in a city he once tried to invade of all places). And I can imagine how knowing what a difference that makes could fuel his urgency and frustration with Zuko.

Ruins of Wonderland

Everyone's pretty much said everything I may wanna mention so I'll just say I love seeing you n little Woozie together, the love in her eyes for you is just so precious, she clearly feels safe with you 💜🐕💜

So... as always: great reaction Veggie! And again: this Zuko / Iroh scene is the reason why Iroh is my favorite character. Everyone needs their own Iroh. Have a great week Veggie!

Like, what godly level of inner peace, acceptance and humility must one have to happily settle in a city that represents the failure of your life and that took away your only son? Without letting his grief turn into hatered or resentment. The man is psychology PhD

I wouldn't say influencers are necessarily manipulating (in the negative sense). But just like manipulate (which essentially just means to affekt a change, even in the sense of skilled manual labor) the word influencer did quite quickly collect a lot of negative connotations. For me personally the most effective influencers are those producing gaming videos. I quite often find myself wanting to play (and often end up actually playing) the games afterwards. And I'm mostly happy about that. Couldn't care less about other products being advertised by influencers ...

Lukas

I feel like that scene is also a comment on the value of random corporate titles. The current employer tries to convince Iroh to stay by promising him new titles, but they probably don't mean anything really.

T_phoenix

This is the best reaction I've seen of this episode. Watched it 3 times already. Awesome video Veggie!!!

Woozle is so gentle when she takes treats <3 She's adorable
