I can't tell you how great it is to see this while bedridden from an injury. Hope you are having a good day veggie

Shelby

I know we say it every episode… but it only gets better and better from here!!! 💕☺️ can’t wait for S2 finale and all of S3! Thanks for all the time you put into this show, it’s definitely a show that deserves it and you’re on of the best reactors out there!! 🙏🏼 thank you Veggie!!

Shelby

“We are the earth kings humble servants…” 🙂‍↕️ ahhhh!!!

Cari Ann

I didn't comment on it but i did laugh when you brought up the heart breaking images from the tales of ba sing se and included Cabbage guy. So the joke did land just not enough to comment lol

Steven

Amazing reaction as always! I’d definitely watch Korra with you:)

Cari Ann

Loved your reaction to azula, oh man I am so excited for the end of this book !

Cinnamon troll

WAIT, WAS THAT A JOKE? The tragedy of the cabbage guy was legitimately the most heartbreaking, idk what you're talking about

Lisette C.

I was so sure that you had clocked on to Azula because you mentioned the 3 warriors - especially because you guessed that Toph's mom was a decoy :) For some reason, people usually guess the Azula twist much more often than the other one :) Such a great reaction Veggie! :) I am also into Korra, but it might not be one of the ones that I watch all of the episodes of :) Alternatively you could just watch it and post it on patron and not get it to youtube? :)

Annabellae Priestly

Haha your face at the end of the episode was absolutely awesome lol. I hope you do decide to do Korra - I know its a bit divisive in the community sometimes, but I really think its an excellent story and its very much worth going through --- especially with the announcement of the NEW Avatar series they've announced they're working on.

jolt45

The action sequence at the beginning of this one is underrated. Our heros haven't been able to go "all-out" in awhile and its almost like we've forgotten how capable they are.

Ruins of Wonderland

For your own sanity, I do hope the end of this book/the next book doesn't emotionally wreck you, however because I've seen and loved the way you do get emotionally invested in stories, I actually hope this does hit you as hard as it hit most of us. Never apologize for tears, because especially for a first watch idk how anyone wouldn't have a wet face with where this tale goes. It's so heavy, so beautifully written, perfectly balanced with action, heart, and comedy, and it's just genuinely, genuinely one of the best stories I've ever come across. WE'RE ALL HERE FOR YOU!!! 😭🤣 If it breaks and fills your heart, you have a whole community here who've felt it right along with you, we all get thru this together 😩😩😂 Now the hysterics are over 🤣 I just wanted to say I'd definitely watch your Korra reactions, and I'm not sure but I think especially with your growth it could get some attention, beloved world as this is, and with the diversity Korra brings 💜 Your laughing right at the end was great 😂 your reactions are already good because you really try to pay attention unlike some others, but just made better with your wholesome and hilarious personality 😂 seriously you're my favorite reactor, so glad I found your channel n became a patron to see it all. Alright I'll stfu lol hope your clavicle is about back to normal n all of you n yours are well 💜💜💜

I can't believe we're so close to ending of book 2 already. Feels like we just started the season lol. I actually like Korra more than atla. From what I understand the network didn't like a lot of what the creators wanted to do with the series which caused a lot the problems with the Korra series. If I recall correctly book 1 of Korra, 20 episodes were ordered but during production Nickelodeon cut that down to 13. I watch every reaction of Korra I can and Ive never seen any of them regret it. There's a lot of things that Korra does very well, but there were a lot of problems production wise. It's definitely worth the watch, I think you'd really enjoy it. And id happily watch your reaction to it.

Madikuma95

Personally I'm not a fan of Korra but don't let that stop you!

Tim H.

this fight scene is one of my all time favorites where Aang just doesn't care anymore and fights them all without looking back. I also have to think about Irohs words, with the change Zukos going through, every time Im sick my entire life since Im like 12 or something 😂

Tim H.

same here, I could never get past episode 1 and when I watched a video of summarizing stuff, I still wasn't interested

"I bet there are other, better YouTubers who worked out 'Three'" Veggie, there are no better YouTubers.

Cari Ann

Spoiler veggie dont read* They just changed so much of the history and the way spirits behave. Changing the first benders stories from oh the first earth benders oma and shu learned from the badgermoles how to earth bend to suddenly Giant lion turtles were teaching people to do it, like why ruin their lovely story? I loved the spirits in atla, they had their own motivations and ways of looking at things, even ko wasnt truly evil, he helped Aang even after a previous avatar tried to kill him. In korra the spirits are evil or good and they can magically change between, it just made them seem so silly and not even remotely like the spirits we knew and loved from the previous series. With that being said I did love all the moments with previous characters, they show Zhao at one point lost in the spirit world talking about being the moon slayer still, it was hilarious and I loved it, I liked Aangs kids, I liked zuko moments there was plenty to like and plenty to dislike in my opinion.

Alex Hopps

I watched korra once, i dont hate it but i never had much desire to watch it again but i would 100% waych along with you

Alex Hopps

Nice for you to experience an episode that doesn't induce tears. I know its been several heavy weeks in a row, combined with what im assuming youve experienced with hatty potter in recent days. Some of the best content going but emotionally draining.

Bradley Elsken

On a shallow note, love the suspenders over the button-down shirt (plus the fedora ofc). Very sharp look

Madikuma95

Yeah the changes to the world-building, spirits, and history of bending, plus all the relationship drama was a turn-off for me. 😓

Margarita Pizza

I only just realized the Earth King is probably based on Puyi, the last Chinese emperor, down to his little glasses. I'm glad you enjoy these episodes so much, Veggie! I always look forward to your reactions. I was having a lousy day today but just seeing this notification in my inbox cheered me right up.

Sab

Definitely, Korra didn't think it would get all the seasons/ episodes that it did and it shows. But totally agree its not a bad show! I think just more different from atla than people were expecting.

jolt45

Btw, are you doing the finale in one go? Its another 2 part finale like Book 1.

pellaeon

SPOILERS. Common misunderstanding but it doesn’t change bending whatsoever. The earthbenders still learned from badgermoles and firebenders still learned from the dragons in fact they show wan doing just that. They simply showed how the power was acquired. They even talk about the distinction between wan’s bending and the “fire tossers”. The lion turtles didn’t teach them anything. And spirits don’t change randomly, they’re influenced by what’s around them. The only truly “evil” spirit is vaatu and he’s just a manifestation of chaos, not the spirit of evil or anything. And that’s just the lesser spirits. “Larger” spirits that were able to cross over to the human world without the portals like Ko and hei bai as well as a good few from Korra aren’t influenced by anything and are of their own nature. The whole Wan and the spirit world story was actually originally meant to take place between seasons 2 and 3 while Aang was unconscious. The original creators have discussed it in their podcast.

Madikuma95

I mean the original creators also wanted to make Toph a boy and have a love triangle between him Aang and Katara (which I assume got turned into the relationship drama in LoK). Sometimes certain ideas are best left on the cutting room floor.

Madikuma95

I love the dream sequence of Firelord!Zuko with the red and blue dragons. The imagery is just so cool.

felipeluzz

Maybe I'm crazy but I think the blue dragon was blue because it had Azula's voice and Azula uses blue fire? (and also blue lightening)

Rey's Got Plans

I have to say this before I forget... I cannot wait for Korra. It is something so special in it's own right and it is 100% worth the watch and reaction. As soon as I finish ATLA on a channel I immediately look for ALOK! For me, the story isn't finished until you see Korra! 😌

CR Ash

Veggie I will personally bankroll a Korra series reaction if need be. Lmk if you need my people to contact your people ♡
