Yes yes yes yes yes! SO glad we finally got to this era of the gAang!! I adored your facial expressions this time around and it was so incredibly refreshing to see you understand EXACTLY how much that tough conversation really meant for the future of the group + Zuko's change of heart + Katara's threat (Which she 100% meant, btw.) We are (I believe) 1 episode away from my absolute favorite 3 episodes in the whole series (1 is a two parter!) Thanks so much again for reacting to this gem of a series, Veggie. As soon as I got the notification, I was sat at my computer completely engaged. :D

Jake M

Finally! Been waiting three seasons for this to happen XD

felipeluzz

Only 5 episodes left!!!! (I count multi-parts as 1 episode since they were originally broadcasted as long specials)

Gabs

The one we've all been waiting for.

The live action show isn't as bad as the movie that most fans refuse to acknowledge lol so since you already did that I think you would enjoy the live action show. But I think korra is more important part of the story to continue to next, and again I will be hyping and liking every avatar video on YouTube to try and boost your ability to keep going with korra, its not as good as this one but nothing can be as good as this orginal tale I don't think, doesn't mean we can't enjoy what else they give us though!

"Hello, Zuko here" is one of the most iconic lines from this series. Also, absolutely love your reference to the old guy from Hunchback of Notre Dame. I can't count how many times I quoted the lines, "I'm free, I'm free, dangit," especially as a kid.

Stan Flamey

Sokka only blocked sparkyboomman's third eye, he killed himself trying to blow them up

Erica

“I thought we were having a Zuko-less episode guys.” *giggles cuz this is about to be one of THE Zuko episodes* 😂 They way we’ve all been so pumped for you to get here Veggie

James McCarthy

Hello, zuko here. One of the best character arcs in history glad we reached this threshold though still much ahead the good and the bad glad you are enjoying (:

James McCarthy

All episodes Black sun onwards are top tier so you are in for a great journey

James McCarthy

I feel like although Ozai would be annoyed about Azula lying regarding Aangs death all would be forgiven since Azula's knowledge of the black sun meant they completely crushed and trapped the invasion force as planned so all lies forgiven i suspect

Time

Truly one of the best eras of avatar and a great episode to bad we never got combustion man’s real name but I’m happy with your picks with chris or Trevor

James McCarthy

Sokka killed combustion man. By disrupting the eye seal his energy was backed up (possibly he temporarily sealed a chakra point) so when he tried to force the enery forward regardless it backfired and blew him up. Also Zuko proving the energy can be blocked partially by firebending interesting and Caleb would indeed be proud you are right

LouShirley

This episode definitely didn't feel long enough 😂

Declan

I've been rewatching Korra recently and cannot wait for you to start reacting to it! That being said though yeah, don't start it until after you've finished the Legend of Aang.

Logical Dreamer

I love Zuko so much, and this version of him is the best <3 Also, I highly recommend the live-action series; I know that a lot of people are criticizing it, but it's leaps and bounds better than the movie. The actor who plays Zuko is perfect for the role. I think you would like it.

STAYoung

This has to be one of my favourite reactions from you this series. I wouldn't put this episode in my top 10 but that just shows you how high the bar is. You called it with how Zuko introduces himself to the gaang, R.I.P Chris, and a very vegan episode with the animal cruelty awareness

Fun Fact: during production this episode was called "What About Zuko?" and "Zuko's Cool, Too!"

Lukas

Not sure what your scale for "minor details" is, but from what I saw they even changed major details. So yeah, I also couldn't get past that and let the show go.

Lukas

Regarding your intro question of earthbenders being nerfed in the invasion: I wouldn't say so. Boulder + Hippo do exactly what you probably expected at one point and collapse one of the cliff-side towers from the bottom of the cliff. I imagine the rocks were prepared for ease of use (just need to throw them, rather than pull them out of the earth first). And it also seems consistent that distance and weight play a role, as well as processed stone being less easy than raw earth/rock (hence why they can't just take the whole city "IN A LANDSLIDE", as Boulder would say). Oh, and that last scene with Katara and Zuko, especially the last shot of her face, I always feel like something of Hama is flickering up on her face. Something of an evil swamp witch, of the monster that she could be, had things gone differently ... "Sokka just killed a man" - I'm not sure we can state it like that ... More like, Sokka blocked his gun and the guy still fired it, knowing it was blocked, having it backfire at himself. He could have broken off, tried to hide or run away until his third eye had healed. Or, judging by how easily he held off Zuko, he might have jumped down and physically thrown them off the temple. But he decided to attack again with his blocked third eye and killed himself.

I had so many episodes to catch up on, and it is bittersweet because I loved every second -- but now I am back to waiting lol. I SO hope that you get enough engagement to do Korra.
