There is no recation here because you never show anything to do with in side videos

NicVandEmZ

This is exactly same as YouTube version I thought he was going to show everything on left side of the not just the title and cover and timer I wanted to see the reaction

VeggieGamer

So sorry Nic! Because of copyright for movies and for the 20th anniversary, you need your own copy of the video to sync this reaction too! Sorry for the confusion!

NicVandEmZ

That’s kind of ridiculous because it would be considered fair. Use to react to it and talk about it. During the time I’ve seen other people do it and haven’t gotten in trouble. Especially just on Patreon with the actual movies that technically would be for use because you’re changing it in a way that you’re telling your thoughts on everything

NicVandEmZ

Videos about anniversaries about movies for the cast getting together are also generally considered fair use under US copyright law. These videos are typically for educational or entertainment purposes, and they typically use only a small portion of the copyrighted work. Additionally, these videos do not significantly harm the market for the copyrighted work, as they do not replace the need to watch the original movie.

"I sadly wont be here, but Hagrid will, YES" always make me cry

I've got to say Veggie, following your journey with HP has been and is still such a magical experience. Most reactors watch the movies, enjoy them, and leave it at that. You've devoted so much more time and effort into this world. The fact that you drive for hours to visit locations, spend time listening to not only the audio book but actually TWO versions of it and giving us reviews where you leave a section devoted to our thoughts about the series/chapter. The way you have embraced your Hufflepuff pride. You find ways to stay in this world after finishing the movies and that means so much!! And the best part is that you seem to genuinely have fallen in love with this world, you're doing it both for us and for yourself. Thank you Veggie, I'm forever grateful :) I can only imagine now how awkward you feel reading this comment haha, but I had to say it

emmainkeri

I totally agree with everything Kamilla said, you just fit right in! It's like you've always been here with us! And the magic in YOU really shines through :')

A quick answer to 2 of the questions you had: Why did Hermione find it so hard to believe Draco was a death eater? Denial. For Hermione, one of the scariest things imaginable would be to have a death eater at school, sitting in class beside her, eating meals in the great hall together, with such close proximity to Harry and her other friends. It terrified her. You also said you didn’t understand what Ginny meant after kissing Harry. She said “That can stay hidden up here too, if you like.” Meaning, they didn’t have to tell anyone they kissed if Harry wanted to keep it secret.

I agree, Prisoner of Azkaban is the best film objectively speaking, I definitely grew to appreciate it even more as I got older and learned more about cinematography and things like that. Like you said the dementors looked a lot better in Azkaban compared to the CGI ones we got in Phoenix. Alfonso Cuarón preferred practical effects and you can tell. Prisoner of Azkaban is a great adaptation too, one of the best in the series for sure. Not perfect by any means, which you'll probably see once you get to the third book, but great nonetheless.

Emma and Tom... They're still good friends. Occasionally you'll see one of them post something about the other on social media. It's very sweet. When I watched the anniversary and heard Emma tell the story about the skateboarding girl Tom had drawn as his picture of God, I almost had a meltdown. One of the pictures Tom posted of Emma and him a few years ago when they were hanging out, SKATEBOARING, was her, with a cap backwards on her head. I was a huge, huuuge Dramione shipper as a kid, and naturally that developed into shipping Tom and Emma as well. I wasn't the only one, it's always been one of the biggest ships in the fandom. They've always had chemistry. It's just so heartwarming to see them acknowledge the love they have for each other, the kinship as he called it. Tom Felton is amazing behind the scenes, him and Emma both are. He does act but he's also talented musically. He likes to go live on Instagram, play his guitar, sing songs he's written and people can donate to charities while they watch. He also has a labrador called Willow! She's really adorable. The best thing is that out of all cast and crew members, Tom has embraced having been a part of the Potterverse the most, by far. Can you believe that he actually reacted to Philosopher's Stone live on social media? It was his first time seeing it in 20 years. He also sees other cast mates regularly, calls Jason Isaacs his dad, wears Slytherin merch ALL the time (even though he was sorted into Gryffindor officially), posted a picture of Hogwarts and captioned it "home" and so on. Oh and there's a thing now called Dracotok, since he's seriously committed to his fans on TikTok now as well. He's fantastic!

You asked wether or not Snapes Memory could be temepred with... As Slughor demonstrated once can temper with a memory, but it takes effort. Snape was dying when he literally poured his momories to Harry I am not even shure he wanted to show as much as he did - I personally think he knew he had to make sure Harry believed him and so his memories were sincere. I also think it's harder to manipulate memories whilst being under stress (duress) and dying certainly is a stressfull situation (well actually it can be a calm one, but if you are dying with a huge wound AND a unfulfilled promise/task it will be stressy). So I think the memories were not tampered with. And yes - I was so looking forward to this coming out. I did not really grow up with the books, since I was already 19 when they started coming our (the books, not the films) so my experience has always been a bit different. I read the books different then most younger readers did. I remember when thinsg with the films started and everyone was like "I wanna be Gryffindor" and I was like "nay - I wanna be Slytherin" just because all the kids wanted to be Gryffindor and I was like so much older. Prisoner has been my favorite book until Prince came out (for obvious reaasons) - as for the films... I prefer the books to the films anytime. But yeah I think Prisoner might be the best adaptation. The lfet the Marauders things out - but it was till close enough to the book to be enjoyable. I really hated Goblet, because the film left so many things out and I did not really enjoy Prince - since there was (for my taste) to much made up teenage drama/love and the important things were totally never mentioned (or just in passing). We did NOT see Snape being DaDA teacher and he was so ... him in the books... Also... thank you for becoming a real Potterhead - it has been so much fun watching this. I am kind of jealous - I want to see all those places in Britain ( and I know Germany is not that far away - but the last 20 years have been dedicated to kid raising... My youngest is like 12 now, so I can actually leave my "older" children in charge and do something with my hubby...) So... someday! My last tme in Britain was soend shopping in London with my now 23 year old daughter and she did not approve of the studio tour (I wanna go...) So really enjoyed seeing your tip to Dobby s grave. Thank you for that!

Love this. Full version is longer than the TV version so had half an hour of confusion, trying to figure out why I was always ahead, before I realised and bought the full version! Haha. That's certainly not a thing you have done wrong (It didn't even occur to me until it caused me a problem) but might be something to bear in mind on future reactions as the more I think about it, some things do have multiple cuts kicking around for what on the surface is the same movie, based on where and how they are broadcast and even age certificate. A suggestion might be to call out the length of your version so people can make sure they are watching the same version as you.

Gary Oldman is English. His sister is Laila Morse who played Big Mo in EastEnders!

Once again, I loved it. Your reactions are so genuine and heartfelt and I really appreciate that about you (even if you don't want to hear it...too bad! We like you) I was lucky enough to meet Matthew Lewis (Neville) a few years ago when he came to Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle. He's super nice! And he has done some more acting. He's been in a couple movies, and he's done several TV shows. He was in Bluestone 42, Ripper Street, Girlfriends, and most recently All Creatures Great and Small. I haven't seen all of these shows (and he's done more than just what I've listed) but I am definitely a fan. He has grown so much as a person and as an actor. I hope you get the chance to check out some of his work, and not even as a reaction :)

Lovely to watch your reaction to this special as well as all the movies. As a side note...one of the reasons Pt 1 and Pt 2 of Deathly Hallows were filmed together was because their release dates were planned to be quite close together. Part 1 was released at Christmas time and Part 2 came out the following July. Also, if you have never seen it, you should watch Die Hard. it's hugely entertaining and it's fun to see Snape as the bad man Hans Gruber. It was Alan Rickman's first movie and he's amazing in it. Thanks again for sharing your feelings and views with us. It's been a pleasure.

I've watched the reunion so many times, and I cry every time. So glad you got to experience this as well! I know there are a few more clips that didn't make it in that are on youtube, don't know if it's enough to warrant a video, but it could be nice for your own enjoyment! Sadly Julie, who played Molly, got cancer and has retired from acting. Michael, who played Dumbledore, also quit acting - but because of Alzheimers. I suppose that's why neither of them attended the reunion. Yes, Evanna, Bonnie and Katie are all activists in their own ways; Evanna is an animal rights activist, Bonnie is mainly an environmental activist, and Katie lifts many social issues but has focused a lot on asian representation and tearing down stereotypes. They are all great. If you want to hear more about their lives and thoughts currently, they have all appeared on the Phelps twins' podcast "Normal not Normal"! Would highly recommend you check that out. Evanna talks a bit about veganism and her Chickpeeps podcast on there as well. :)

I just joined here and am starting your Harry Potter reactions. Halfway through Philosophers Stone and loving the adventures of iconic trio Harry, Hermione and Grunt.... apparently 😂

VeggieGamer

Thank you so much, Kamilla!! Honestly, the quality of the story and the movies is to thank for me getting so invested! XD I really have fallen in love with the Potterverse, I had no idea I would enjoy it as much as I have!! Thanks so much for your kind words! :) And don't worry, it wasn't awkward at all! XD

VeggieGamer

Aww thank you Emmainkeri! That is really nice of you to say! :)

VeggieGamer

Thanks for this, Paula! Very good point on the Hermione line and I obviously misheard Ginny's! That makes a lot more sense! :)

VeggieGamer

Oh my goodness, I need to look up that pic of them skateboarding!! XD I am amazed that Dramione (which is an amazing name XD) would even exist, but that is awesome!

VeggieGamer

Yeah tbh, I agree Dara! I don't think the memory would have been tempered with, but I wonder if there are people that hold these kinds of theories! :) It is a shame that more people didn't want to be Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff back then, but I bet that has changed a lot (I am certainly happy with my pick XD). I really need to get cracking on the books, can't wait to see how they differ! Oh yes! The Studio tour! I need to get around to that!

VeggieGamer

Wow, I had no idea that she was his sister (I don't watch EastEnders but I know who you mean)!! And thanks, I didn't know there were different lengths! >_<

VeggieGamer

Thanks so much Dance!! Wow, that is awesome you got to meet Neville! I definitely want to check more of his stuff out. I had no idea there was a new All Creatures Great and Small! O_o

VeggieGamer

This is very interesting, Jain! Such a short time between movie releases!! Ah yes, I have seen Die Hard sadly! Such a great movie and Rickman is BRILLIANT in it!!

VeggieGamer

Oh, thanks Maria! Maybe I can include those clips in other 'deleted scene' reactions! I had no idea Walters had retired from acting, I hope she is doing well. Also that is so sad to hear about Gambon. I would have liked the cast to have talked more about his version of Dumbie, but like I say, if I got my way this would have been 4 times longer than it was! XD That is so amazing to hear about the activism! I really need to check out these podcasts..

VeggieGamer

Hahaha thanks so much Michael! Grunt (err, I mean Ron XD) becomes one of my favourite over all characters and I now feel a little bad for calling him that XD

VeggieGamer

Beautiful. Thanks Diego, it really does sum up what they got through together! :)

I'm so happy for you that you've found the same comfort in these stories that so many of us have before you. Real life is a bit tough for me right now too, and reliving the Harry Potter books and films alongside you has felt like watching them with a friend - it's been wonderful, and a real bright spot these last few months. P.S. I love that you've been watching Snape's Memories over again since seeing the final film... it's such a beautiful, flawless piece of acting and storytelling, even if I can't watch it without crying my eyes out. It's always been hard to watch but even more so since Alan Rickman passed... I just miss him so, so much. P.P.S. If you'd like to see Richard Harris in anything else, definitely check out the Count of Monte Cristo, it's an incredible film.

I know you said you found it fascinating when Ralph Fiennes talked about his performance - in the BTS for the 4th movie, he talks a bit more about the creation of movie-Voldemort, in case you're interested! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aYtNKOZ86s
