Yeah I don't disagree with your opener on Vi and Powder, Veggie. Its an alternative take I never thought on, though I don't think Powder was being pushed to do something she didn't want to tbh; I think she just had a complex about her inability to be helpful and is scared of erring in front of everyone. It doesn't help that she's mentally unstable too with other issues that we've now seen. I think, had it not all kicked off in episode three and the kids then grow up together; Powder would turn out into something we saw in episode 4, just without the insanity, mayhem, death and destruction. She'd be a badass like her sister, fighting by her side. Plenty of meat in this one, with Jayce getting more involved in the messy side of politics; Viktor struggling to make the next leap with the Hextech and his health now deteriorating badly; Caitlyn and Vi teaming up, the latter to find her sister, the former to get her suspect; Silco pressuring Marcus by framing the Firelights, and Jinx reliving old memories, getting reborn supposedly and embracing this persona, and getting her own Hextech working.

Will

The violinist is Ray Chen, he does a lot of the music across the series. The character on stage was also modeled after him. 'Pim' was also voiced by Jason Spisak - who is the voice behind Silco. :)

I liked you're defense of Powder in the intro. Powder staying there woldn't really have been in character (A character Vi helped to form in the first place as you pointed out) even though it can be really frustrating! I'd also like to add to the argument that it could have easily gone the other way around, where Powder arrives and actually saves the day because it was a trap and they wouldn't have been able to get out of there without her help. That's what I was expecting when watching the episode for the first time....so I was totally caught off guard by the way it turned out 🙈😂

I do think Powder was conditioned to try to fight and be part of the group (She should have kept with Ekko, her own age). However, I disagree that it was primarily Vi promoting this. I think Powder's trauma, need to survive in her environment and the group, and Milo's bullying played way more of a part than Vi. Yes Violet incorrectly told Powder she was "ready," but amended her original words to "you are not ready" before she went to save Vander. This triggered Powder, but what else was Vi supposed to do to stop her(to protect her most loved one)? Also, before Vi tried to turn herself in, she told Powder that she didn't have to be a fighter. I would argue that Powder was always being groomed to be a survivor in a cutthroat environment that definitely required Powder to grow up too fast despite Vi not wishing this on her. Vi did not agree specifically with "we were twice the person at half her age." What I'm trying to say, is that it wasn't Vi's desire for her sister to fight, struggle or grow up too fast. When it comes to the incident, walking away from the loved one that killed all your other loved ones is perfectly reasonable. I also think Vi only knew how to punch or walk away; those were her two options as far as she saw it. After punching her sister, I can't see her character having done anything else. Edit: Except punching more. "Punch first, ask questions while punching." --Vi The children didn't know what the blue balls were. They probably thought they were simply pretty and inert. Honestly, after the scolding from Vander, I wouldn't show him the blue crystals either.

Hey Veggie. I highly recommend you watch Imagine Dragons' music video for "Enemy" before you watch episode 7 of Arcane. https://youtu.be/D9G1VOjN_84 No spoilers I swear, would make for a great reaction video, and will accentuate your emotional connection with Powder and her gang for Act 3.

I agree with most of this apart from the thing with the stones. Powder clearly understood that they were powerful, otherwise she wouldn't have tried to build a bomb out of one of them!
