I know this reaction is a few years old now, and I'm still going through the series, taking my time with it, as I think binging this, does it a disservice. However, I liked your theory that Caitlyn is becoming more like Grayson; as I reckon at the end of season 1, we have Vi being like Vander (also Silco too becoming like him by the end), and Jinx becoming Silco. As if my favourite character of Jinx can't be any more awesome; she is left-handed like me! Nice! Yeah you were rightfully angry at Jayce in the last episode, but we see here now he has ventured down into the Undercity and seen the damage that Shimmer is doing. Silco is preparing for war at all costs, and Jayce sees how desperate they are by the fact they are using kids for this. He's had his eyes opened now and no longer sees others from the Undercity, as mere terrorists only; he is no longer ignorant of what's going on down there. Great scene with him and Vi fighting though, the animation was top tier again! Mel's mother, Ambessa is a unit! Whilst Mel was advocating making weapons in the last episode, here she sees her own reflection in her mother, and doesn't want to be like her; one who only thinks of war and battle first. Victor's scenes are both wonderful and terrible, as he embraces this Shimmer/Hextech alloy. Him being able to outrun the boats, when he couldn't keep up with his own toy boat as a kid, is moving; but then we see the other side of this as Skye tries to pull him back, but ends up being incorporated into his body, and the rest of her being turnt to dust. Seeing the surgery scene with Jinx, is horrifying. The screams from her are brutal to listen to. This is only making her less human and further pushing her away from what she was.

1:01:10 Veggie: "I don't know exactly what happened but she [Skye] didn't look to healthy at the end of that scene..." Skye *Is literally a pile of ashes* My brain: "Well, that's certainly a way to put it🙈😅" Also: You might feel dumb for not realizing how Singed's name was pronounced, but imagine how I felt (having already seen the show once before), when I only realized because of you that Singed was the doctor that invented Shimmer and we saw in the first few episodes....I always thought they were two different doctors🙈😂

One thing I love about this episode is how when Viktor runs he runs past the ships in the background, while when he was a kid he couldn't keep up with his toy boat. I'm not sure if Vander was in the mines. I always thought Vi was referring to the gauntlets that Vander had hanging in the bar and that she used in episode 3. I've never played League though so I may be wrong. Looking forward to the next one!

Uh, the thing with Victor is really neat, never noticed that 😮!

VeggieGamer

Yeah Tim, sorry I didn't make that clear! I mean the gloves he used as weapons, and that maybe they were originally designed for breaking rocks in the mines, which he then went on to use to rebel! :) (Kind of poetic justice, in a way XD)
