Order 66 hits so much harder now.

So, to answer your questions: Ki-Adi-Mundi had multiple wives, but im not sure about children tbh. Oh and btw yes that was kit fisto in the senate office gettin diced up by palps, and Ahsoka felt the fall of Anakin while standing on the Venator with Rex in the next room over. Rex got the call for order 66 almost immediately. Yes, that was Rex's squad the 501st at the temple- Vader brought an elite unit. A lot of them were on Mandalore though. Yes that was Tarkin's lil bitchass lmao ,and lastly the story that was told to Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen was that Anakin died during Order 66 at the temple

A few notes, the timing of everything in this movie was perfectly orchestrated by Palpatine (as we've mentioned many a times before). The facade of the war was always to paint the Jedi as hypocrites for inciting violence instead of keeping peace. Ultimately blinding themselves from their own beliefs and philosophies and their connection to the Force. You asked why the Jedi didn't prepare younglings for the dangers that were the Dark Side. Well the simple answer is, they kind of did.. Anakins character development was key in the Clone Wars to explaining this. He mentioned once to Ahsoka as a lesson that "not all Jedi agree with the Council, that there are many political idealist among us (Jedi).". He even quoted the falls of Dooku and Pong Krell as examples. To recall, the timing of this movie is directly after Ahsoka reunites with Anakin to capture Maul. Anakin divides the 501st to help Ahsoka invade Mandalore and the other half to aid in the "rescue" of the Chancellor. Rex goes with Ahsoka as we saw in the series finale of Clone Wars. The moment Palpatine proposes Anakin to become his apprentice was key timing in conjunction with the height of the War. The Jedi High council is spread out across the Galaxy in response to multiple battles. This was strategic in leaving the Temple on Coruscant at it's most vulnerable without a majority of the best masters. The four Jedi who confront Palpatine after learning he is the Sith Lord are Mace Windu, Saesee Tiin, Agen Kolar, and yes, Kit Fisto. Aayala Secura, the Twi'lek Jedi is killed on Felucia. Plo Koon is gunned down in his starfighter. And of course, Ki Adi Mundi is killed on Mygeeto. We also see Master Luminara on Kashyyyk with Yoda. Apparently she survives Order 66 initially but we learn in Rebels she was killed and used as a decoy to lure other surviving Jedi. When Yoda and Obi Wan return to the temple, Obi Wan mentions recalibrating the Holocron message warning Surviving Jedi to stay away. This Holocron message is the same one we see in Rebels when Ezra opens Kanan's Holocron in the series premiere. And lastly, I've always wondered a common question people ask when we see Anakins downfall. When exactly did Anakin "die"? Obi Wan suggests it was the moment he "saved" Palpatine and killed Dooku. Another moment was when he first began to have his visions about Padme's death. There's also the moment he saved Palpatine (again) and stopped Mace Windu. And finally his duel with Obi Wan and the anger that killed Padme, the very being he desperately wanted to save from the beginning. Then seeing the cold transition in his eyes when they turn Sith "yellow". In my own opinion, I believe it to be all of it, the entire movie is just the inevitable, tragic, and slow death of Anakin Skywalker. It's metaphoric honestly, Anakins frustrations were all bound to transition him to the Dark Side. Ahsoka's unfair exile from the Order. The attachments he was forced to let go of in his mother and his wife. The obvious distrust the Council had in him. Of course, all of this was intentional manipulation over time on behalf of Sidious. But by the time any of those revelations matter, it's too late. Anakin is far gone and everything about him and the memories and relationships are destroyed. Vader is nothing but darkness and evil, and that's why the only hope (a new hope) is the one surviving memory of Anakin... Luke and Leia. Sorry for the essay-like response. This is also my favorite movie of any of the films for many reasons. So glad you enjoyed your rewatch of the prequels Prime! :)

This is one of my top 3 movie franchises in my life lord of the rings, Star wars and Pirates of the Caribbean in mixed order cause some days I like one more than the other. The Utapau planet that Obi went to and was greated by those aliens those were the same alien species as the grand inquisitor. I know they kinda look different from the animated version but they are. I know going from animated to live action is a bit jarring at times like recognizing the clones in this movie and even some jedi. Yes that was Kit Fisto when Mace faught Palpatine as others have said. Cody and Oddball were just two clones we got name dropped but there were so many clones that need name drops like Commander Bly and Commander Bacara. (The ones that shot Ayla Sakura and ki-adi-mundi) both hated doing order 66 as much as Cody but had no choice. When Obi and Yoda broke into the temple to warn off other Jedi was an idea he got from a young padawan in Star wars new Dawn. That same scene has become very important to remember when Obi watched Anakin's recording on the hologram The "Rise lord Vader" scene

To quote Obi-Wan "Hello there"! Fantastic reaction! 😊 This is still 100% my favorite prequel movie, and my 2nd favorite overall. Obi-Wan's "you were the Chosen One" monolog gets me every time(always a huge shout out to Ewan McGregor for that amazing performance), along with Padmè knowing that there was still good in Anakin. And the Obi-Wan vs. Anakin lightsaber fight is right up there as one of my favorite lightsaber fights along with the Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul and Luke vs. Vader on the 2nd Death Star in Jedi. After this re-watch, I'm even more excited for your "Obi-Wan Kenobi" and "Tales of the Jedi" episode reactions.

Man. Revenge of the Sith is easily my favorite movie of all time. Doing the full length reaction was definitely worth it. What a great experience and a great reaction!

The Montreal Colombiano

bro just wait till you watch the Kenobi show, no spoilers but all of us grown men were tearing up like mfs seeing the actors 20 yrs later wow

Chase Izidoro

Incredible reaction as always bro 👏There truly is nothing quite like watching Revenge of the Sith for the first time after watching all of Clone Wars. It makes it that much more tragic, but also that much more awesome because of the attachment to all of the characters. Also p.s….someone on Reddit made a file where they did a Episode III x Siege of Mandalore super cut since the events happen at the same time. It’s like 4 hours long in total, but it’s fuckin awesome to see the events with Ahsoka and Anakin all play out simultaneously. Idk if it’s reaction worthy for the channel, but you and anyone else should 100% check it out

Dam what a Thanksgiving!!!! 3 great football games, 4 episodes of Bad Batch then this. Mace Windu pisses me off so bad. "If this is true, you will have gained my trust." Like wtf bitch. I've been knowin you for over 10 years and did everything you asked and you still don't trust me. What a bum. You are so right Yoda coulda won in the right setting. Now bro. You gotta watch the last 4 episodes of Clone Wars again. If you do you will piece everything together so well.
