it was the ricin cigarette that was in the bag. its implied that walt had Saul pick the cigarette off Jesse when he was searched by Huell. at this point we don't know who or how Brock was poisoned but we can assume it probably wasn't Saul

The craziest thing to think about this is less than 10 months have passed from S1E1 till the end of this episode. Mike would surely have killed Walt if not for Jesse but he truly looks out for and is protective over Jesse. I can't say why yet though. I feel bad that Ted ended up like that but then I don't lol. He is a scumbag and isn't like this bc Skyler called someone, he's like this bc he wouldn't just pay what he owed with what was given to him. Nonetheless no one deserves that. Walt is definitely a villain now and Skyler has every reason to be scared. The laptop had to be destroyed but I feel there could have been better ways. Can't wait for the next.

Yup its insane. The first episode goes from September 7th to 30th 2008 and this episode is July 15th to 24th 2009.
