Hello there!After weeks of work, here's the new RP!It is very different from everything I've done so far and I really enjoyed this change.As you will see there are some things than took me away from ASMR, starting with the intro that some people won't like, I'm aware of it, but this is how I imagined it and how I wanted it to be (I will provide a link to a no-intro version) 🙂A few weeks ago, as the concept and story slowly took shape in my mind, I quickly realized that wanting to make the video "cozy at any cost" was clearly restraining my creativity and possibilities. So I decided to let this side of things go and focus on the atmosphere/immersion without any pressure. The only coziness I really tried to add was in the lighting, that still has some warmth (same for the character... I guess?).I hope you'll enjoy, even if it's not as relaxing as usual.Oh and what about the special guest? 😉 His warm & deep voice was absolutely perfect for this video.I will release the last BTS video on patreon in a few days, that will be about the set building, that turned out nicely in my opinion 😊 Stay tuned!

I'm not all the way through yet, but I'm loving this! Yes, the intro and some of the sounds could potentially be too stimulating if someone is trying to sleep, etc, but I think that's ok sometimes! Your creativity is totally worth it. I really liked the intro, actually. Very immersive. And the guest star did a great job! :)

Wow. Diana, you have outdone yourself this time. This was an absolute delight from start to finish. I am a sci-fi girl at heart so was eagerly waiting for this when you first mentioned you were working on a sci-fi themed video, and am gobsmacked by how perfect it is. WOW! All my expectations were more than exceeded. I am amazed by the love of detail of this "rugged sci-fi" setup. I am a sci-fi person through and through and this roleplay made it so easy for me to dive into this world and enjoy all of those great ASMR triggers in addition. :) I am impressed by those holographic display images. Have you done those by yourself? Also, I just love that you have used a set of old computer jobsticks as controllers for the medical scanner. Such a creative idea. I think the intro and outtro are a vital part of this piece of art; they guide the audience into and out of this phantastic sci-fi world and help to understand the actual storyline. The middle part then focuses on ASMR and its triggers and I am pleased that even some of those sci-fi sounds are quite trigger-ish to me. ;) In conclusion: Thank you for this awesome experience, Diane! <3

Thank your so much for your comment Marc, it really warmed my heart! For the holographics displays, I downloaded some "futuristic" screens and applied various effects & distortion to fit on the actual Amstrad screen, so it would give them this holographic look :)

Fantastic video with a great intro. And beautifully made, with lots of details as always. There seems to be an incomplete sentence in the description. The "Huds interfaces by..." sentence. And you haven't listened your Tidal account under "Find me here."

Yes there was an incomplete sentence because I tried to find the artist's name of one of the screens seen in the video (most of theme were purchased, but there are a few free as well), but it seems to have disappeared from the website. I was hoping to find it letter but I didn't. And I had no idea I had a Tidal page ahah! I don't even know Tidal. My label never told me it seems ^^ Thank you!

Yes, those details tend to stand out for me. You have a label? Is that needed to get content on platforms like that? Nowadays I almost always listen to you on Tidal when falling asleep. Lately with the dried flowers episode. Before that it was the last steampunk optometrist one.

Sci-Fi? That shocked me! Yet again the set is marvelous. I see what looks to be an engine thermostat that you were pressing with your finger. Astounding use for something so trivial. Can't help but wonder how you put all this together. To Quote Wittgenstein, Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent. This video does that for me.

The intro was good, especially that first shot, establishing the feel of a desolate place, although the coastline actually looked beautiful. It created a contrast that made the interior a safe and comforting place. The 'captain's' voice was excellent. A good scifi first and I hope there will be more. At the end, after saying that the planet was Earth, I think added context would have rounded it out, like "In another 100 years, we'll have it ready to live in again.". Although that's me looking for a hopeful ending.
