Liz, Celtics are 3-0 against the Pacers. It will be fulfilled...

To hear her say she is optimistic for the world and for the Philippines and say that the world is Palestine… what a lovely person and wild story that I will be thinking about for awhile. These 2 tribunal episodes have been stellar.

After an hour of humble, modest recounting of feats of superhuman courage and generosity to others, where there was no indignation, no bitterness, no preaching, I realized that all the grandstanding and condescension we get from some of the loudest activists the US is just what happens when you don’t actually DO or RISK anything. You fill that void with a bunch of vitriol that only serves to repulse anyone half sane from your cause. And then when she wrapped that whole low key masterclass in how to confront an impossible system with OPTIMISM, and Gaza…. I was just fully choking back tears. Thank you Brace and Liz. Y’all be earning my heart and mind over and over again but this really gave me cult eyes. Love you.

There is also a black Jesus in this little town just outside of Agrigento, Sicily. Haven't looked into it and it's probably really interesting. But I've witnessed it so many times. Don't know how literal it would be but that might have something to do with higher levels of melanin in that era. But anyways, it's 'always' been here or was found here (the black Jesus) and people come from all over Italy to this tiny village. They take it out of the church, as well as the Madonna(white), and starting on relatively opposite sides of the city the women carry the Madonna and the men Jesus, thru town until they meet up. They just did it on the 3rd of May. Tre Maggio. Maybe that's the three kings thing, I dunno. I'm not religious. It's just "Tre Maggio" here. They do it around Christmas time. Couple times a year. They're heavy as fuck too. Hella people have to carry them. It's on a little pedestal, inside of a nice glass chamber thing, and whatever the pedestal is on has long, thick pegs of wood sticking out of the front and back so multiple people can hold it. It's nice to watch. I have photos but don't know if y'all care that much nor where to send them. Unless it's just right here... Edit: dang, did I do cringe?? I did cringe. I left so much cringe up in there oooh yikes sorry y'all. Someone get a "FLOOR WET/ WET FLOOR" sign up in this bishh

I've been ironically going to Dutch lessons for 2 years, it finally paid off in this episode. Please put some respect on my Nederlanders.

He's such a kind soul. It really comes through in this one and seems to put interviewees at ease. Great work PissPigGranddad!

Gordon

Great episode. Got to meet Coni at a conference in 2023 and she is exactly as humble and genuine as she comes across in this episode. Thank you for helping promote and uplift the voice of the Filipino people

It means you can't park there.

Why would cringe make the floor wet? Like drooling and cringing?

Are there any books or other resources on the political history of the Philippines that anyone recommends?
