I agree there's not a value judgement there just an odd way of saying oh well yeah he was a fed informant that supplied them some guns. I see Brace bringing up the connections between Aoki and tribal thumb. The value judgements are just things they laugh at or how they portray individuals within the movement or how they talk about radical actions. These guys just seem like they would happily write and read about genocide as long as it's interesting, rather than do anything about it or be apart of a mass movement to fight against it.

If the stories of all her sisters aren’t enough (they’re famous for being, respectively, the fascist wife of Oswald Mosley, a suicidal Nazi fangirl, one of the Bright Young Things literati, and the doyenne of the Pride & Prejudice house), Jessica’s life and career take it over the top.
