If we can’t make parties we need to like make more issue coalitions like uncommitted movement, that institutionalize people into a national level bargaining chip around an issue and have a spokesperson who can be negotiated with. Why can’t there be a national scale pledge for uncommitted that everyone can sign onto promising to withhold the vote unless our negotiator(s) reach a deal

You're right about the party form. I don't think we'll see a maoist vanguard party anytime soon, but I think the internet advances the culture war and ultimately advances the class war as well. The only chance a left really has is if the Dems pass a good labor bill and somehow the courts cant strike it down. That could probably regenerate a labor movement that could build a left. Because of the two party system it would ultimately still be within the Democratic party. But hopefully through primaries a clear faction could emerge in the Democratic party. It would then need to hollow out the party and make its factions inoffensive.
