Brace, I have to disagree with you on what the catalyst of 2020 was. Even before Solemani’s assassination, I vividly remember Papa John giving his first interview after being cancelled years prior, in the days/weeks leading up to 2020. In the interview, PJ says a “day of reckoning is coming”. When pressed by the interviewer, he just kept saying “you will see.” This has lived in the back of my mind for 5 and a half years and I do 1000% believe PJ let a bat loose in Wuhan or whatever the narrative is

If I was Iran, puttin my little Iran cap on. My head thing they wear over there. I'd make Israel unlivable for this. No electricity, no water. Wouldn't touch any US bases. If the US made moves to attack again you basically have to attack the bases. To have any hope of a favorable diplomatic outcome, Iran would need to actually invade Israel. Not sure how they get over there, because they don't have an airforce to compete with Israel. I guess they could try to coordinate with Lebanon and Yemen? If Israel is willing to let things ride it will continue and there would not be a huge difference between getting nuked and having the US explode all infrastructure in the country for 40 years.

I think morally and strategically you would want people to be able to live on the land(Palestinians) again. I think you're right in that Iran waited too long. Should have joined when Hezbollah was still fighting. It's the mass shooter victim mindset. Everyone wants to stay still and hope they pass by and someone else deals with it. Meanwhile they keep reloading and each person only fights back when they're already being shot rather than all at once. I guess that is really just prisoners dilemma actually from a warped American perspective. Anyway, shit sucks. Sun Tzu ain't helping. I guess Iran chose to hit US bases, so hopefully Trump backs off when he sees US soldiers will in fact be killed if this continues. I'm not optimistic. There were talks with Russia so hopefully they are in possession of good ground to air defenses, but even so...yea. Iran really needs to just wipe every critical infrastructure off of Israel before another US attack. People only respect strength, that is the only law.
