I don’t think Trump’s comment is totally mask off. I think that real estate development has replaced liberal internationalism as the cover story for racial extermination, whether those discussing it realize or not. They have completely rewritten military history and our entire understanding of modern urban warfare. Go read the statements of the IDF Chief in the past week as he repeatedly tells the political echelon that they simply do not have the capacity to successfully occupy Gaza because of the war of attrition that the resistance has waged against them. You are not helping anyone by completely ignoring this whole aspect of things and doing so only hampers your ability to understand why events will unfold in one way or another.
