Heya, Jumping in here, because I am new to this podcast - found Brace recently via the Bad Hasbara guys. Started at the very beginning with Epstein only a few weeks ago (it’s 2024 - where have I been!?), via the 9/11 collection, through JFK (oh my god, all fucking eye openingly excellent) now to deep state. Watched JFK 3 more times to help me track it all. It is so much!! Knew about some of this stuff before, but there are synaptic connections happening in my awareness now between events and recognising strategies and MOs that are so recognisable when you begin to see the patterns. It is hard to know and hold in your head. My head. It is so impossible to hold it all. I really appreciate the honour you hold with everything, but by fuck, it is so dark. Next up, Finkelstein. Thank you for the tireless effort you put into researching all this. Feels like shining a light into the darkest places on the human scene. Ufff. I know the US is your jam, but I wonder if you’d consider going into Australian false flags at all? the CIA over turning the Whitlam govt in Oz for example? (and other things I feel nervous to type in a public forum….) Or maybe you have and i have yet to stumble upon it. Thanks for the work you’re doing. I’m diving back in. X

I thought you might have gotten Alexander Hyde White to narrate. He’s great. And he’s British, although he does a convincing American accent for his superb reading of “The Kennedy Imprisoment” by Garry Wills. Also his reading of a book of George Orwell essays is great. They kept me company on many long drives and long runs.

So happy to hear Brace give a little shout out to William T. Vollmann's footnotes. In his fiction he makes hilarious notes, like how he actually dug through a San Francisco trash can & gave an inventory of its contents in order to give a sense of accuracy when a character does the same in his short story "The Blue Yonder". Also, he has the absolute best book on climate change, "No Immediate Danger Vol. 1 of Carbon Ideologies". He'd be a great guest on the show, but I don't think he's into doing podcasts or anything like that.

I must make a correction here. The guy reading the audiobook version of American Exception does not have a British accent. It's more like a northern Atlantic American accent. Maybe because I'm from southern Indiana, those all sound, like, fancy to me or something. The guy's name is Arthur Morey and I think he does a great job. I had no input on this version at all. I'd wonder what he even makes of this stuff having read the whole thing out loud... Anyway...uh...very important that I correct this here, yeah?
