No joke, I also knew a fat guy who tried to rob a bank, back when I lived in Texas. He got in the drive-thru line and sent the teller a note in the pneumatic tube that said "Give me $200,000 [or whatever it was], or I WILL STORM THE DOORS." He then panicked, left, went back to the coffee shop he was always at, started telling people "I just robbed a bank!," and got arrested. Because he didn't actually steal anything, however, the DA decided that it wasn't even worth prosecuting him, and the next time his name came up, it was on the marquee of a local venue, which said "FRIDAY: [guy's name]'s MILF BEAUTY PAGEANT!!!"
