Hellooo-oooo!!!!

Carine

Thanks for including an actual Palestinian voice (no offence, Noah Kulwin, you're a mensch!)

aarinsanity

fighting barbarism with barbarism is never the vibe. did we learn nothing from 9/11?

SPENCER PIBBLES

Free Palestine and god damn those Zionist scum to hell.

Robert Armstrong

Mr. Jackpots! A brief moment of levity before the shit. Love y’all!

Tan Tan

who was that poet he was talking about how do you spell his name

Nasreen

Thank you for this episode. For people looking for accessible resources, Visualizing Palestine and the Decolonize Palestine website are a great place to start. Palestinian Youth Moment and Jewish Voice for Peace are also good to follow for info on protests and mobilizations happening across the US/Canada. Mondoweiss & Electronic Intifada have been doing nonstop coverage. For donations: Anera, Middle East Children’s Alliance, & Medical Aid for Palestinians.

George P

great interview, thanks

Monetcache

Thank you again for focusing coverage on this ❤️🇵🇸

ectoslavia

Brace isn't getting citizenship. His picture is actually up in most government offices.

Chadeayne Detar

Thank you so much for this interview. I know very little about the Palestinian/Israeli conflict and its so hard to learn more when the US is soooo pro Israel.

I am become reply guy

I peep the nyt headlines now and then just to see what the lib opinion setters are saying and I noticed they’ve started talking about a humanitarian crisis and the suffering of Gazans, like it’s as blameless as a natural disaster, as in, ‘ isn’t it a pity but what are you gonna do?’

Wiley Michelle B

All I can think about is the episode with the POW/ MIA strategy rn as hostages are used to justify these atrocious crimes against the Palestenian people :(

Itai Segre

I've been marginally involved with them for some years and they are pretty good on their Palestinian solidarity campaigns. Great episode by the way :)

Michael Levine

To completely ignore the inhumanity perpetrated against innocent Israelis by Hamas recently is inexcusable. I've cancelled my subscription to TrueAnon. It was just a low $ subscription but after you guys and your guest painted such an unbalanced picture, without an ounce of perspective, I can't rationalize giving another penny to you. To be clear, I'm not at all an apologist for Israel's treatment of the Palestinians. Israel's hard swing to the right has been very disturbing and my opinion is that they should be opening the country up. Israel should be a real democracy and treat terrorist acts as police matters, accepting that there will be events. I think Israel's hard line behavior has only created more enemies. BUT, there can be no ignoring that what Hamas did last week was absolutely despicable. And that's what you did. You ignored it. And you ignored the fact that there have been legitimate attempts to solve the problems there. But every time they get close, extremists on both sides do all they can to sabotage peace. That's where the problem lies. Your portrayal of Israel as just a blood thirsty genocidal organization is not accurate and prevents me from further supporting you.

Axel H.

I’d go nuts without these podcasts, I swear. The discourse around Israel/Palestine right now is just so beyond baby-brained I’m starting to lose it. Yesterday my conservative friend gave me the old “but you’re gay! You know Muslims don’t like gay people, right?” 🙄 And more and more liberals I know are on board with banning pro-Palestinian protests because fascism isn’t fascism when we’re in a 9/11-like jingoistic haze. As someone born around 9/11 I can’t imagine what being a leftist was like back then; this is a much smaller scale but it’s wild nonetheless.

A.S.

Thank you, TrueAnon ❤️

Li Hongzhi

I also heard Lionel Richie in the “hello”

CleverName

Not cancelling but taking either side is a vote for ethnic cleansing at the moment. Not gonna bother with one sided discourse. See you next week.

Natalie

how are y'all subbed to trueanon on patreon and still doing the Both Sides thing lol are you new? israel is a 70 year old country created by Britain. do the math folks

Danny

very depressing to find out half of the true anon audience would have supported the trail of tears

blazed uncle

It takes such an incredible amount of courage to speak out as a Palestinian in East Jerusalem right now. It’s really stunning.

Sam Bernad

Please unlock this episode. Would be great to send to folks not familiar with / subbed to true annon!

BRIAN

Agree. Ep should be on YouTube in full

Jacobo

Idk why anyone expected Israel to react differently to the slaughter of 1300 civilians. There wasn’t much prospect to peace before but damn, Gaza is about to be another settlement for the next 500 years.

Davis G

The Palestinians are even more oppressed than baristas who aren’t allowed to unionize

DH

This issue has been fucking me up all week, seeing so many awful awful things being said on my feed and just in casual conversations. I overheard some dickhead at the bar yesterday talking about how “Hamas keeps Palestinians hostage.” Just bullshit lie after bullshit lie, and you know deep down many people don’t believe this shit. It’s just a hall of mirrors to keep people from acknowledging what this really is. Thanks for bringing this very cool guy on, his sanity and pointedness reminded me of what’s most important - the liberation of Palestinians and opposition to colonialism in all its forms.

Seth Aronovich

A good episode. Something that MUST be emphasized- those who advocate for Palestinians, people whose CHILDREN are targeted for rape, torture, and murder by the zionists just for fun- to practice 'Gandhian non-violence' are being deliberately disingenuous. 'Gandhian non-violence' has never worked. It didn't work in India. The British didn't just wake up one day, realize they were immoral monsters, and let India go. Heroic Indian freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, on an individual level, and the Indian National Army, who fought to kill British occupiers, FORCED them to accept that they would lose far, far more trying to keep holding on to full imperial rule, than withdrawing and leaving their economic and political tendrils in place. 'Gandhian non-violence' didn't work in South Africa. The white supremacist regime there, which like the ᛋchutzᛋtaffel was a close ally of the zionists, which voted in 1947 in the 'United Nations' of the time to pretend that 'israel' was a real country (at a time when nations as large as Nigeria, Vietnam, China, were not allowed to vote in the United Nations), offered to let Nelson Mandela out of prison if he repudiated the liberation of South Africa by force of arms. Mandela refused, as all human beings will. Zionists are evil, they cannot be reasoned with. They can only be defeated. They will be defeated. God bless the martyrs. Palestine will be free from the Jordan to the Sea.

Brian Ward

Thank you to trueanon for this pod and for showing to well meaning audience members that just because you share a cultural outlet with people does not mean they share your politics. Those who are surprised at the right wing backlash in the comments here need to take this example and really crystallise it in their heads so you can in time move forward in a positive way

Holly Booth

I really don't feel as though this episode is one sided, it just may seem that way to people who are 'on the fence' because it details the atrocities that Israel has perpetuated for the past 75 years. There is nothing one sided about it, it's exactly what happened but a lot of subscribers just don't want to hear it for some reason. I'm genuinely shocked at how many centrist takes I'm seeing in this comment section, do you guys actually listen to this podcast?

Seth Aronovich

Now, I'm not a Yank, but I have questions about anyone who claims to be an American, 'right wing' or not, but who supports 'israel'. Back in 2002-03, when Benjamin Netanyahu, the current leader of this terrorist group, 'strongly encouraged' George Bush to invade Iraq, even if you don't care about the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis murdered, don't you care about the thousands of US soldiers who died, the tens of thousands more who were permanently crippled, the hundreds of thousands with traumatic brain injuries? Don't you care about the 34 US sailors and civilians who were targeted for murder by the zionist entity while peacefully sailing in international waters on the USS Liberty, and the hundreds more on that ship they tried to murder? That John McCain's father tried to cover up, like he covered up his son's dangerous incompetence? Where y'all really from? Hope the air con in that JIDF building in occupied Yafa isn't working too hard.

Cameron

If you have come this far listening to TrueAnon only to be surprised by them sharing the story of oppressed people- were you ever actually listening?

Doug Cartel

I'll keep saying it: this is the world our grandparents promised us, 900 different flavors of right wing psychos butchering each other while the planet gets strip-mined down to the mantle

sara brown

I love you guys. Great episode.

Mitch Laird

I am both too smart and too stupid to comment

Seth Aronovich

Remember today, when monsters like Michael Levine and Daniel Szmulewicz want us to condemn the Palestinian military, because those heroes of the human resistance raised themselves up to defend the entire human population of Palestine, to lay their bodies upon the gears of the zionist genocidal machine, to intersperse themselves between their sons and daughters and wives and the beasts who lust to murder them. Against monsters like Levine and Szmulewicz who would never, even bombing from 30,000 feet above the ground, never have the courage to target the Palestinian military. No, they would never do this. Instead, they target hospitals and schools. Today they slaughtered more than 500 Palestinians in a single hospital attack! It is not possible to negotiate with monsters like this. You cannot forgive. You cannot forget. Palestine will be free from the Jordan to the sea.

snapplepeachtea

I finished reading the Jakarta method just days before Oct 7th. reading about the evils of the liberal world order did not prepare me for experiencing it.

Amy Ball

Please make this a public episode! This is such a good history and depiction of Wtf - it’s one of the best to listen to right now. Please let it be shared!

owen

Has the TrueAnon crew listened to Vatican Shadow or Muslimgauze? Both take didactic approaches to music, with focus on Middle Eastern conflict (and US involvement). If the music isn’t your speed, it’s at least interesting from an anthropological perspective.

Charlotte Xo

Thanks for this :) I’m really hoping some day you’ll do an episode on the Irish revolutionaries (hunger strikers, blanket protests, battle of the bogside) in the future, some people new to this convo seem shocked that we are the most outspokenly pro-Palestine country in Europe

The Children of Jack Acid

Listening to your old podcasts about this issue--can you do a whole episode about Pegasus spyware and similar devices such as the Stingray, and other spying tools? Tell us where they are used currently and what tools are favored by Mossad vs. the NSA, etc. You could even go over the history of domestic spyware here and abroad, starting with the first wire tap being declared inadmissible without a warrant, then Leon Theremin making microphones inside clocks to spy on people, then tools used by the FBI, CIA, COINTELPRO, Homeland Security, on up to today. You could talk about transcripts of phone calls of MLK, Dick Gregory's comedy bit about his phone being tapped, then the NSA's projects "Fairview" and "Stormbrew" where they partnered with AT&T and Verizon respectively, etc. etc.? Maybe you could even have an expert on, to tell us some methods for how to dodge surveillance against activists (and drug users)? Does it really do any good for us all to put our phones in a microwave and walk down the block to a park before we discuss our next protest actions?

AK

Love u guys ❤️ both for this ep & the SUP crossover of my life

Arielle Curtin

Just wanna add that Mr. Chomskys been killing it on the boards last three eps!

Alison Buki

This was very good - agree with those asking for it to be made public as there are friends and family i would like to share it with
