J98

Not the content I was expecting.

JFK 201? These mfers spittin

Reece Coren

yooo ask aaron how his boy rfk’s doing. vile transphobe 🤮

Hal Warren

Not only did we commemorate the 58th and 59th anniversary with some analysis, but now we're onto the 60th!

Dino Zaccagna

Coming to the patreon comments to instigate Twitter beef.

PrinceVocalFry

Damn, I just re-listened to the 101 episodes this week. Guess I'll just keep on rolling through Dealey Plaza.

Michael S. Judge

Just to clarify: the new Patreon "P" is in fact an actual-size replica of my dick and balls. Folks, check the top left corner for a little sizzlin' treat

Guy Guyerson

Can someone explain the Aaron Good/Subliminal Jihad beef? I’m not lame enough to be emotionally invested in my parasocial relationships to know

Hal Warren

All those more fringey folks have a problem with him. I think they don't like his PhD and would prefer he had a lisp. Also, I don't really get this "parasocial" dig. Ever heard Howard Stern fans talk? Or sports fans? They all pretend as if they're a member of a family. It's just how we are as communal creatures. Nothing new to podcasting, just more opportunities for it.

Hank

What's the issue with him?

punkademic

Love Ben. Hope he’s getting some royalties!

Jordan Best

had to comment bc i can’t believe Brace knows who Yao Ming is.

J98

Ben is the best guest. I would even say, he would be my nomination for 3rd host. He is lowkey noided and high key smart

Acele

more like ‘aaron not good’

Michael S. Judge

Jim Hosty, the FBI agent who appears to have been Oswald's contact in Dallas and may very well have known about the assassination before it happened, lived two streets away from me for years and years until he died of prostate cancer in 2011. I had no idea who he was till 2017. God damn it

demisays

PLEASE post a photo of the award

drizzly_november

I've liked some of his earlier interviews, but his book kinda sucked and he's become RFK Jr's Full-Time, Number One Chief Dick-Rider.

ploob

slowly but steadily succumbing to hepatitis

ploob

Take your shirt off Brace!

demisays

well, he’s also crazy about RFK jr, which seems like a big red flag to me. i liked his earlier interviews but lately he seems to have gone off the deep end

ploob

Continuation Of Government ep please!

Reece Coren

inshallah aaron will be next 🙏

Nic Bodiford

Please print shirts with Brace and Ben sitting side by side, Brace saying “It’s been a time since we been in the swamp together.”

R. Karchnyak

I disagree with Good’s stance on RFK Jr. but it’s obvious why he supports him. He thinks he’s the best chance we have of ending endless wars. There’s no legit opposition to the power structure in the US, and with Trump or Biden it’s the same catastrophic foreign policy. Unless I’m missing something there’s not going to be a socialist revolution anytime soon. So Good’s support of a change to the status quo should come as no surprise. I don’t see RFK Jr as being the answer but I get where Good is coming from.

Guy Guyerson

If you’re smart enough to realize there’s no alternative to the foreign policy status quo, you should be smart enough to realize RFK isn’t any type of alternative either. Weird that he’d go so far as to suggest that he would be.

drizzly_november

Exactly, it's weird to me that a purported expert on deep power can believe a single candidate - especially one as dogshit as RFK, with no popular movement - can start dismantling the empire. By his own admission, Good was a big Obama supporter during his first campaign and it seems that gullible enthusiasm has only been displaced onto a new guy. He's at heart a liberal.

Kevin

I’ve listened to 101 too many times to count, thank you guys for putting in the work to make this behemoth of an episode for us!!!

Tryg

Credence Clearwater is reverberating around my gen-x brain whenever I imagine you people pouring over the Zebruda film...

Tryg

I love you.

glenn mohre

You gonna talk to Michael judge?

Ian H

Yeah I only listened to one Subliminal Jihad episode back when the Trillbillies kept talking it up on their show, but I'm pretty sure those guys also claim that Brace and 2/3 Chapos are CIA.

JB

He's been transparent about why he support RFKJr and that he finds Kennedy's position on Israel-Palestine to be appalling. It's one thing to disagree with his analysis and conclusion on continued support but all this hate and trolling is dumb as can be. This is why "leftists" can't have nice things and spend all their time fighting each other

Ryan Ford

lighting up the group chat to let all the boys know Aaron Good and Ben Howard are back on

Guy Guyerson

And they valiantly defended Taylor Swift from Noah Kulwin’s vicious “it’s for babies” take

Char Kelly

People have joked before about Aaron and Ben’s voices sounding similar but having them on the same episode is doing CRAZY STUFF to my brain

JB

I think he's hoping that there is a less lizard brain part of the deep state that realize it's in deep trouble and that RFKJr could be some sort of FDR figure to save liberalism from itself or at least shrink down the American empire in a more peaceful way. I was willing to entertain this idea before October 7, since it's pretty obvious that Kennedy's Zionism is inauthentic (or he would have stayed far away from Kucinch). There was hope for a little bit of idealism because why would Kennedy give up a cushy life to paint a bull's eye on his back if he didn't have any idealism? But Kennedy going so hard and so wrong in supporting Israel that even if he's not a Zionist, you have to question his judgement and suitability for high office. Even if his heart is in the right place, not sure he had the skills to pull out off. Then again, compared to Nikki Haley and Genocide Joe, maybe we all get a lot desperate.

FalunBong

With all due love and respect to our beloved Liz, Brace, and YC. I think the vast majority of the audience, atleast the non-americans are preoccupied with the war on Palestine. Can we please have more Palestine episodes 🥺🥺🥺

dominic

Please do an episode on McVeigh! I’m just finishing Aberration in the Heartland and it’s so insane. Would love to hear you guys talk about it

eeri

remember when aaron defended rfk doing an event with moms for liberty because "well i like moms and i like liberty :)"

Matelda

I could be wrong but it seems like the mighty have fallen, CIA wise

R. Karchnyak

That pivot post 10/7 has pretty much erased the tiny bit of hope I had in regards to RFK’s intentions. But like you said, desperation. In the end we’re all just people prone to mistakes. If we’re here, listening to this show, then I’d say we’re all basically on the same side.

Chris

Why does Tim keep getting promoted like this? Do people think he wasn't a schizo effective racist or something?

Noah Mingus

damn is anyone else feelin like this class is a lot harder. So much more reading.

JB

You may want to check out Breakthrough News, East is a Podcast, Mint Press News, and Electronic Intifadah. These folks have deep experience covering Palestine and have a lot to contribute. Rania's recent interviews have been amazing.

Angel

Love this episode and feeling familiar with the names, places events etc… bc of the jfk 101. Two years after listening to all 12 hours of those episodes I am reading the collection of writings by George de Morenschildt’s “Lee Harvey Oswald as I Knew Him” two years later. Insane shit. Tinfoil hat on.

Robert Armstrong

“God lets you say a coupla words before you die” might be the most powerful shit ever said on this podcast.

JB

Yes, oddly there are a lot of moms who think irreversible gender transitioning of children is a bad idea. It must be because they hate trans people and not because there are a lot of evidence that depressed young people get pushed into pharma and surgical transitions by doctors and some of them are now deeply regreting undergoing the process. They are probably Hamas, come to think of it.

JB

I am not sure I agree with these people but to speak of their position as some kind of unspeakable evil as opposed to very mainstream ideas within the US and the rest of the world, speaks to how detached the US "left" is from the rest of the world.

eeri

didn't know an idea being mainstream in the US is the judge of how evil it is. good thing you don't actually agree you just take for granted every bad-faith claim matt walsh asserts. thanks for making it very clear what your actual problem with "leftists" is lol

eeri

btw was aaron transparent about his publisher donating $150k to rfk jr's campaign

demisays

moms for liberty is a hate group devoted to making public schools worse and teachers lives harder, not to mention increasing suicidality amongst trans and other lgbtq kids. transition regret among ppl who transitioned as teens is largely a myth and overreported, and most trans kids don’t medically transition until they are older anyway. not sure why this is controversial among so called “leftists”, have an ounce of compassion for your fellow oppressed peoples of the world

JB

Aaron is not the publisher so there's no duty to disclose something he didn't do, but he's been transparent that they share a publisher. I happen to disagree with Aaron's optimism about RFKJr, but taking cheap shots against him is just typical Western "leftist" crab in a bucket fuckery. No idea who Matt Walsh is actually (heard him mentioned occasionally but lack interest to follow up). Just think that if you constantly insist that you're right and people with other views (that's basically everybody else in the RoW and at least half the population in Western countries) are evil hate groups that you can't ever work with because of this one issue. Then nothing you claim to want is ever going to be accomplished.

JB

The flip side is that every report I've seen that insist on quick transition to prevent self harm seems extremely shoddy in methodology. I had no stable identity of self until I was about 25 and this seems quite common for young people. I am dubious of any widely peddled cure for a condition that was extremely uncommon 20 years ago and now apparently everywhere, especially when the treatment for the condition include surgery and life long hormone treatments. I don't care what what adults (which these days seem to start around 36) do and how they identify, but this whole thing seems like it's mostly an artificial division whipped up to prevent class solidarity amongst the 99%.

pepto_azymuth

Just finished " libra" after reading "jfk and the unspeakable " without even realizing it's the 60 year anniversary

pepto_azymuth

Loved that book. I really can't wait for Wendy to finish her next book. If you haven't heard her rare interview on "programmed to chill" it's worth a listen, she recaps the book but also adds newer supplements that she has uncovered after publishing the book amd some of the mysteries she is uncovering with the Roger Moore connection.

swervegriffin

Will listen to all these once the gazan genocide ends 🫡

Ian :3

I have indeed listened to the 101 series recently, I am a True Listener

Matt Breen

Oh hell yeah part 1 of ??

Lucia

My goats!!💘

The Fine Art Revolution

lemme know if I got it right: so Pavlov tipped off the cia to a mole inside the cia. The the cia mole-hunting division wanted Oswald to act as a fake double agent and sus out whomever this person was, meaning Oswald was a full-fledged cia agent/assest? How does this end up with them framing him then? was this all constructed to paint Oswald with a backstory of communist connections, and if he happened to find the mole, then that would be a bonus?

Jawn Feddermang

That sucks! Very un-Benlike behavior. Sounds more like a Nathan or Kevin to me.

gatito

Subliminal Jihad are making some of the best and most interesting content out there, they joke around a lot about different left personalities being “sus”, but it’s 90% a joke, if you actually listen to their stuff you’ll see that have very well-grounded positions on the issues that we care about, and their analysis is top-tier.

gatito

What makes you say that? Just out of curiosity, because I’ve enjoyed their show for about 3 years now.

Richard Cochnar

I wanna see that fucked up Patreon trophy

bl

whatever you say, aaron

kyle

Which episode has stav and Adam?

will michel

oswald is coy harlingen in inherent vice… “listen to me when i say this to you: fuck you!”

demisays

idk maybe read about trans history or talk to some actual trans people before you claim that trans people didn’t exist before 20 years ago

JB

Maybe learn to read. I didn't say they didn't exist, but the case numbers now in the Anglosphere compared to 20 years ago is exponentially higher. This is particularly the case for young women where historically gender dysphoria was quite low, now being told that they're not just Tomboys or lesbians feeling out their identity, but transmen who should consider surgery and lifelong hormone treatments. When a marginal group suddenly gets its maximalist position boosted by all of the liberal establishment like that and cultural war lines are drawn between two irreconcilable sides, the fix is in. I absolutely believe true gender dysphoria exist and I'm willing to believe that physical transition can be beneficial in a proportion of those cases. But what I see now is a craze to encourage young people uncomfortable in their bodies to maim on the basis of a new and poorly tested medical orthodoxy. I also see the push to encroach on women's safe spaces (shelters and change rooms) rather than create new safe spaces for transwomen - that's absolutely a choice to heighten the tension rather than protect transpeople, just like building a "Jewish Homeland" in Palestine wasn't about Jewish safety. And anybody who questions it even a little bit gets death threats and rape threats like JK Rowling. Just like any questioning of Israeli actions is automatic antisemitic and another Holocaust. If this is the hill you want to die on, whatever. But good luck getting the rest of the world to follow you.

JB

Reminder 1,234,664,332,221,335 of why Western leftists can't do jack shit.

Laura Dineen

yep... they do. I do listen to them... not sure why

Christopher Mesler

I like to view the assassination of JFK not just as the assassination of a president, but the most high profile burn notice in history. They had to have someone take the fall, they probably had a large selection of guys with fabricated histories that fit the bill, and for whatever reason that we'll probably never know, Oswald ended up being the guy they were gonna throw away. Maybe he fucked something up, maybe he just had the least upside moving forward because they already used him as a double agent once, can't really do that again. His usefulness just ran out, and he was burned.

Clay Perry

Granted he has a lot of practice at this point as a guest but Ben is really a fantastic guest podcaster. He’s got the tempo and mood down for great explication. Excited for the rest of this series and all his future appearances

Jesse

How does the fact that Robert Maxwell’s consigliere was Antony Blinken’s step dad never get brought up on this podcast

Jesse

Ben’s voice has always sounded like Ed Snowden to me which ads another facet to his appearances

Andrew Irwin

5th cum town (adjacent) reference. It’s an Epstein podcast and nick mullen hasn’t been a guest yet??? This is ableism, anti-Irish racism, and anti-twink homophobia

AbeLinkin

I would expect nothing less from a user named Big Dong Bill

John McElroy

You should listen to all his RFK analysis - no candidate for the empire is going to have everything; we’re too far gone and certainly Trump/Biden and sycophants are vomited up figurines of Fascism (selling different brand of eau de warfare) There was a time before (amaryllis fox, Israeli genocide, and overzealous RFK hustlers) where one could see a new possibility for empire - and I think that is relevant here. Aaron is good guy, honest, and tells it like it is and has served the public ‘s interest almost like a think tank for the people if you look at his guests, co-hosts, and the amazing people he’s brought into our lives (PDS, Lance DeHaven-Smith, Michael Parenti, Daniel Ellsberg, Peter Kuznick, Oliver Stone and Ben). We need more tolerance for our brothers in this battle against the state criminality, surveillance, and warfare/imperial propaganda. This is one dude I trust w/o hesitation- most of his detractors are loud noises in a library of jealous isolation - flailing at connection to people they do not know nor understand

BeanCurd

I would be interested in a McVeigh episode precisely BECAUSE he was a "schizo effective racist." The theory isn't that McVeigh didn't do it; rather, what he pulled off required help from so many people it is (literally) unbelievable the FBI didn't have foreknowledge.

Son Goku

When do we get a Yung Chomsky driven episode??? I followed him on Twitter recently and he's jacked!?!?! Share your secrets, step out of the producer role.

Mubar

Ball does lie

Jack Rogers

I got my friend to start listening to true anon a few months ago. He just named his dog Lee Harvey Oswald or Ozzy for short

carl

wow how'd you get Dave Brubeck on the show

Percy Plump

Why wouldn’t he, they played together for 2 seasons before Brace was traded to the Celtics

American Exception

Oh geez, I know I should avoid comment sections, and this is a deep subject but the short answer is not that RFK is such a uniquely righteous leader (Israel alone dispels that notion) that he alone can defeat the Empire. It is that in my estimation the Empire is basically defeated and is a dead man walking at this point...but it's a dead man walking with a bunch of nukes in his pocket, if I may mix metaphors. Kennedy explicitly calls for unwinding the empire and avoiding military conflict w/Russia and China--and he endorses a truth and reconciliation process to disclose to the public the reality of things like the US/CIA hand behind the assassinations of his uncle; his father; Malcolm X; and MLK. Because he is actually trying to win in our insane system, his messaging is all over the place--appealing to conservatives, libertarians, Left-liberals, anti-imperialists, etc. But I think the core of what drives him is that he wants to do what his uncle and father died trying to do. That said, he seems to have made a Faustian bargain with the Israel Lobby--which was bad enough before 10/7 and now is horrendous. Yes, he keeps moving up in the polls, but he needs to revise his position on this. I and other more prominent figures having been working and working on how we might make this happen. Time will tell how it goes. I understand why most people on the Left really dislike the guy. I am not fixated on the personage and am more focused on what is possible at this fateful moment as the US Empire evaporates--and with it, centuries of Western imperialism. Somebody else here (can't find it now) wrote that I got weird around the time of RFK's announcement. That's probably true, but it wasn't about Bobby. It was due to the fact that my younger sister died from an accidental overdose around that time, and that her death also plunged my mom into crisis because my sister had been taking care of her. I probably should've avoided social media for a month, but whatever. I never went so nuts on anyone as to get banned from Twitter so that's a win! Besides all that, I try not to engage with people online (not referring to you) who are doing PR spamming as though they are part of a screwball street team. I personally would opt to be a busboy before I would ever think of running a podcast on a model wherein I slander other podcasters as CIA operatives and then set up a Discord to organize how I can send my subscribers/flunkies all over the internet to harass people, to gin up phony discussions about my "work," and to generally act like some of the internet's biggest shitheads. It's probably silly for me to write all the above, especially b/c I have a ton to do with the 60th anniversary coming up in a few days. Regardless, TrueAnon is awesome and their followers have been very cool to me so I thought I'd respond here. If it needs to be said: Doing these JFK shows with Ben has been great fun. Peace everybody!

Sean

even the FBI admits that mcveigh couldn’t have built that bomb

JB

Sorry you Bens got stuck with Benjamin Netanyahu and Ben Shapiro. Ben Howard is a one-man Ben-ish Voice For Peace, redeeming all the Bens.

Lydia Maria Child

Nailed it. The whole "I'm a leftist who's actually ok with nazis in Ukraine and the US literally starting WWIII to prop up empire, but to me, someone not 100% fully endorsing every single thing every trans person says and does is OVER THE LINE!" So fucking stupid. Literally retarded, intellectually and morally. Like not fully developed and something seriously wrong with them.

Hal Warren

I stand by your arguments against these Jimmy Falun Gong folks. The man laid into someone about suggesting further scholarship into an area of Jeffrey Epstein's sordid career, citing Whitney Webb's citation of one of his Twitter threads, which itself had no citations or hard evidence. I don't mind that these parapolitical "researchers" rely on independent publishers to distribute their work, but that kind of shit wouldn't pass muster in any realm of serious scholarship. They have a hatred of anyone with charisma and a public profile, as if one can really change the world from an anonymous account on a failing social media platform, without any interfacing with the real world or persons of influence. If I may add anything, I believe that's what you're getting at. We have the political system we have, and these networks of power must be dismantled from the inside. Whether RFK Jr represents that effort is largely beside the point. But if we as political individuals have any chance at change, it will come from a real human being.

Sara Jessica’s left shoe

I haven’t seen all the episodes so i don’t know if this is something you guys have already discussed. But would you possibly do an episode on Thomas Sankara? I really enjoy the podcast!

spanky bulldog

I was listening to a lot of subliminal jihad and programmed to chill for a while, but their little twitter tantrums about how everyone slightly more successful than them is CIA got so dumb. Like who's more likely to be CIA, trueanon and chapo, or the anonymous guys with graduate degrees warning about the dangers of tiktok witches, and slenderman being a djinn

JB

Did he genocide anything other than humor?

JB

Yeah, it's like those ghouls who go on about how supposedly regressive Palestinians are against gays and women (no idea about gays but definitely not true for women) as some justification for KILLING the gays and the ladies with their families. The current iteration of cultural Marxism edgelording is so obviously a tool to police and shape dissent. It needs to be killed with thermoberic bombs, multiple times, just to be sure.

JB

Now that I know they're all coming from this Subliminal Jihad thing, I wonder how many of them did any independent research on RFKJr or trans right. These are such complicated topics full of gray areas and unknowns. But these assholes probably just heard a couple rants and decided to target online leftists for edgelord cred.

Acele

why are you all arguing under my dumb little comment? don’t you all have jobs? i don’t care for ben but i enjoyed the episode tbf - i just saw the pun opportunity and like the scum i am i took it

K H

Ugh. Yes. Same with NATO episode.

K H

The massacre in Palestine is one of like 2 things on earth that have caused me to contemplate physical violence in Minecraft obviously. I don't particularly need it to be the continuous or sole reference of my media, and most of what needed to be said or known has been. Honestly though there is not much to it and it is clear without doing any homework who is in the right and who is a psycho degenerate stealing sperm out of corpses.

BeanCurd

I respect your earnestness, but the idea that RFKjr is a genuine peacenik/anti-imperialist is revealing itself to be a ploy with his stance on Israel. Just like JFK. And this is the one part of the (excellent) TrueAnon series I couldn't agree with... All the evidence shows that JFK was actually a wannabe Cold Warrior. The irony of his assassination is that it's EXACTLY the type of covert operation that JFK would have ordered in a foreign nation (e.g. authorizing Operation Mongoose, Diem coup, coup against Qasim in Iraq, etc.). Maybe Kennedy really did want to get out of Vietnam, but there's 1000 reasons to assassinate a president and I'm not convinced its because he was going to end the containment policy.

MojoMan

Spoiler Alert ‼️ Allen Dulles was the lead on the entire plot. Thank you to David Talbot author of “The Devil’s Chessboard” for revealing what should be painfully obvious.

Chumbucket

Was that an Arturia microfreak Yung Chompsky?

ploob

Chicken Soup for the Compliance Officer's Soul

Hal Warren

Seeing how things have played out since then, and my own banning from Aaron's podcast, I do think he is reluctant to pass the gauntlet, and is protecting his position he has built after carving a space outside of academia. He is not a bad person, and has brought our attention to interesting people, but all he's done is synthesize existing work, and he is not a theorist or visionary with an alternative vision. This is why he repeats himself, and he is guilty of the same sorts of behaviors as his detractors. He also is unable to harness the powers of these online platforms into a truly new form of independent, online/print/visual media, and it can't really be done with the ragtag group of people that have enriched themselves and have forsaken the people they've educated. I don't think I've changed much since November, but I have made important changes in my life.
