Man do I hate the visual clutter of the show now re-introducing every character each episode with little name and ability cards. Do they think new viewers are starting the show deep into season two and have no idea who anyone is?

its literally just a transition to go in and out of commercial when its airing on tv and denotes the halfway point. a lot of anime does it. idk why youre so focused on it

wiski

No my guy, I'm talking about when a character shows up in an episode for the first time, there is a little description next to them saying their name and their power, if there are three people showing up in a scene for the first time it might show three little descriptions next to them which piles in the visual clutter, especially with subtitles on. I'm not talking about the character breakdowns going into and out of commercials. Check the 3:53 mark in this video, top left and bottom middle, that's what I'm talking about, at a certain point in the series they started always doing that even for well established characters.

When airing on tv, people will probably turn it on randomly and watch it, they’d need that context especially with so many characters. They probably dont plan it for streaming and binging purposes like we do in the west

Raven Leaf

This is the first episode I realized that when she talks, she has the "oujou-sama" accent
