Thanks for giving the older movies a chance! The most modern OP films are spectacular for sure, but you can only get this kind of nostalgic charm from early One Piece

I started watching One Piece in 2014 when I was 10yrs old and watched till the end of the Alabasta when it stopped broadcasting in my country. In 2019 I was finally able to pick it up again, continuing from where I left off and caught up that year. Since then ive been keeping up with the anime. In 2021 I heard One Piece also had movies, so the whole beginning of 2023 I binged ALL the movies from the 1st One Piece movie to the 15th One Piece movie, including all the OVAs & Specials too. When I reached the end of the 1st movie I teared up because at that point I had 8+yrs of commitment to the story and when tobio said "luffy will become king of the pirates" and the 1st nostalgic ED started playing....I couldn't help but tear up thinking how far luffy has come since the 1st movie where I was simultaneously in the 900s of the anime. It really hit me and I teared up. One Piece is so good and everything of One Piece is so worth it.
