Allen

Oh this one, it is my childhood.

Ancientswords

pretty sure she has a good mod-team telling her when she can watch what

Wow, some of the characters really give 90s vibes, like they are straight from Tenshi Muyo. Also man was I innocent as i watched the movie the first time. Completely forgot the fanservice. Had a spontanous Jiraya moment there.... They even draw details on her breasts as she materialized from the waterpump, Toei really needs a horny bonk, and me myself also.... lol Also the amount of blood and the more than borderline gross moments (Usopps special Inhalation) gives the movie some unusual vibes, which gives me the feeling that the studio experimented with (adult?mature?) themes normally not found in One Piece. Maybe , just maybe , this gives us a feeling what One Piece would be like if it had a more mature rating?

JojoJack

Figure she should finish enis lobby and then watch Movie 7 through 9.

Def. thanks guys. I'm stopping at movie 6 and then will do another Movie binge sometime in late spring or summer :D

Can't wait till you get to hear the ending theme to Movie 4! I fuckin love that song. It's a karaoke standard for me at anime conventions.

YAY! Movie 2 is one of my favourite OP movies~ So excited to watch it with you 🥰

SJ

Honey Queen’s devil fruit ability would completely nullify Crocodile’s sand powers. Knowing that, I found it hilarious how easily Nami beat her

Malik Vaughan

Nami and Sanji in wedding outfits. I understand why Oda said he had to hop in 😂

Tim Kühne

Movie 2 was released at the end of the Apis filler before the meet Laboon

Brian

people sleep on this movie. its better than majority of them

Honey queen has the liquid liquid fruit and yes it is a logia. Only one we saw prior to this when the time this aired was smoker. Plus this was a while before the logia type was mentioned in skypeia. So the logias we have are smoker, ace, crocodile, eneru, and honey queen here in this movie. And she got defeated by a jar!

Some of the early One Piece movies are a bit looser since they were made from before the series established a lot of its characters and lore, but they still have a lot of heart put into them regarding the overall themes of the series and they have some nice moments as well. I'll say this, a couple of the One Piece movies are just kind of do-overs to condenses specific arcs. There's not a huge number of One Piece movies, but interestingly some of them have details that seem like they get incorporated into the anime.

Ngl Ive never seen the older OP movies even tho I'm watching/reading OP since 13-14 years but im pleasently surprised at how good they are

Movie 6 is my personal favorite, but I remember having so much fun watching 1, 2, and 4 as well of these older ones (and pretty much all of the modern ones, still have to see the last one eventually) 😁 hope you enjoy the ones to come!

Movie 10: Strong World is my favorite. It just looks spectacular and is the first one to my knowledge to have Oda in a more hands on role in it's production. It also features an antagonist that is canonical to the One Piece universe.

Christopher Velasquez

I love that Zoro already has a name for himself and everyone knows it lol
