I keep on forgetting we get two episodes of Haikyuu a week now 😭 You already got to see the start of Asahi's redemption. The build-up is SO good! Plus it's awesome seeing Hinata really start to enjoy and appreciate his role as a decoy. I hope you continue to enjoy the show! You're in the thick of it now. Tons more episodes ahead of pure volleyball matches!

Thomas Yang

It would've been funny if the writers threw in a little reference to AOT, Coach Ukai telling them to be Titans and tear down the wall.

This match against Date Tech really sets the bar for the drama in all the other matches in this show. When Karasuno faces an incredibly powerful team, you really feel the weight of it and the pressure everyone goes through duringg the match. Also this is kinda the begining of opposing teams having really symbolic banners. Karasuno's "Fly" and Date Tech's "Iron Wall of Date" just so perfectly capsulate what each team is all about.

What. A. Show.

OMNI Ludicrous

I must say, despite how awesome S1 is even so far, it's still my least favorite of the entire series. For me it is S3 > S2 > Movie > S4 > S1

Jake Thompson

17:50 that's probably my favorite quick of the season. Just incredible.

Flexi do you know that Uncle Ace VA is MHA Tokoyami's VA? Also Kiato in Black Clover.

The way that Haikyu includes character moments for soo many different characters in each episode is so masterful! In this ep we're learning about not just our team, but the opponents team, and not just our players on the court, but also our players off the court! There's moments weaved in for so many different characters and it's so seamlessly done! Like in this ep, Suga's not even our starting setter but we get just a few seconds of him cheering for Asahi from the sidelines and it makes me tear up every time!

The Scorbunny

comes to show you how awesome haikyuu really is

Duris

Of course OP1 and ED1, until we Fly High! Music in this show is really phenomenal... and we still didn't get the "Above" OST!

Sindri

He said tear down that wall. It's not quite so on the nose but it's still there if you want it to be 😅

Today's Name Drop is the entire Date Tech team. Their last names are ALL hot spring districts in Miyagi prefecture (Aone, Futakuchi, etc.). Aone's (the no eyebrows guy) first name is Takanobu (High Stretch) signifying how high of a "wall" he is. And his birthday is August 13 which is the day the Berlin Wall was built.

Watched it so many times now, but i still enjoy the whole symbolism of the crow for Karasuno. The show goes on and on about how crows are opportunistic highly adaptable carrion eaters and omnivores. Each member an individual but strong together when facing adversaries. So well done throughout the whole show how well the team learns from their rivals.

Flexie’s Tears

YOU SEE WHAT WEVE BEEN SAYING FLEXIE-KUN!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭

I wasn't in live chat to answer the OP and ED question but I like the first songs and the second visuals. I never had an interest in sports anime before but this is really good.

Gene-Nius

i think im in love with flexie
