Hi again. ♡

Remember when I told you my phone was starting to learn a few new languages?

Well… apparently, it’s going pretty well. 😏

I’ve been slowly figuring out how localization should work in Unlike Me — not just translating individual lines, but making sure the whole phone feels natural when you switch languages.

Menus, apps, notifications, messages, little pieces of text hiding everywhere…

There are a lot more words in my phone than I realized. 😅

But the good news is: it works. ♡

🎃 Devilish will be available in five languages:

🇬🇧 English🇷🇺 Русский🇹🇷 Türkçe🇧🇷 Português (Brasil)🇩🇪 Deutsch

I’ve been testing them inside the Halloween Special, and seeing the same little moment appear in five different languages is strangely satisfying.

Claire can now wish me a Happy Halloween in quite a few ways. ♡

And this isn’t going to stay inside Devilish.

The localization system I’m building for the Special will also make its way into the main game with Unlike Me v0.3.

That means Evelyn’s main story will begin expanding beyond English too. ♡

There’s still plenty of text to work through — especially considering how much I seem to enjoy texting people — so I’m taking it one step at a time and making sure everything works properly along the way.

But for now…

Devilish is definitely going multilingual. 🎃

Five languages, one Halloween night, and apparently five different ways for my daughter to call me “Mom.” 😏

Not bad for a phone that only spoke English a little while ago.

I’m creating the game entirely on my own, so I can’t always implement everything, but I try my best to listen and make as many of you happy as I can, whenever it’s possible. ♡ So please keep sharing your thoughts with me — I’m listening. 🖤

Just found this on F95 this morning. I'm not normally much of a fan of mobile phone games but I like the way this one is starting. It goes without saying that I am totally in love with Evelyn. Daniel seems like a decent fella; work is clearly something that can get in the way but he seems like a good bloke. I like Emma. Not normally much of a fan of the pushy wife's best mate but Emma is pushy without being completely unreasonable (at least as far as the story has gone so far). It seems to me that Evelyn and Daniel have a solid relationship but there is clearly something lurking in the future. An ... embellishment of the relationship. NTS? He's clearly pushing her, very gently, to be a little more adventurous. I notice that the tags on F95 are ... very limited; sparse even. I'm assuming that is an attempt not to give away spoilers. I am definitely going to keep an eye on this one - I love female protag games and I adore redheads ... especially if they're Irish ❤️😂🤣😎

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment! ♡ I’m really glad the beginning worked for you, especially since you normally aren’t a big fan of phone-based games. One of the things I wanted from the start was for the phone interface to feel like a natural part of Evelyn’s life rather than just a gimmick around the story. And I’m especially happy that you already have opinions about Evelyn, Daniel and Emma. 😄 Evelyn and Daniel’s relationship is very important to the story. I didn’t want to begin with a marriage that was already miserable, broken, or obviously waiting to collapse. Daniel genuinely cares about her, and Evelyn genuinely loves him. They have a real relationship, history together, affection, routines, and a life that works. At the same time, as you’ve already noticed, there are things gradually changing around Evelyn. New people, attention she isn’t used to receiving, curiosity, temptation, situations she may not have found herself in before… and some of those things will begin to test both her boundaries and the relationship she currently has. Emma is also intentionally a little pushy. 😄 She’s not supposed to be an evil friend trying to destroy Evelyn’s marriage. She simply has a different personality, different boundaries, and a very different attitude toward life, which naturally puts Evelyn in situations she probably wouldn’t create for herself. About the F95 tags: the limited tag list isn’t really me trying to hide future content. F95 has a rule that tags should only be used for content that is actually present in the currently released version of the game. Even if I already know that a certain type of content will appear later, I’m not supposed to add that tag before it actually exists in-game. So the tag list will naturally grow as the story progresses and new content is introduced. In a way, that also means the current tags aren’t a complete roadmap of everything I have planned for Evelyn. 😏 I do want to keep some surprises, though. I don’t really want to publish a checklist of every character, relationship, kink or situation that will happen several updates in advance. I think a lot of the fun in a slow-burn story like this comes from watching Evelyn change little by little and wondering where each new situation is going to lead. And yes — if you like female-protagonist games and redheads, you’ve probably found the right project. 😂❤️ Thank you again for giving Unlike Me a chance and for coming over from F95. I hope you’ll enjoy watching Evelyn’s story unfold. ♡

I had assumed that F95 doesn't like tags that give the game away but there are an awful lot of devs (I'm assuming it's the devs) who put in tags for stuff that hasn't happened yet in the game - I'm a retired widower and I have an awful lot of time on my hands and you know that the devil finds work for idle hands 🙄🤣😂 I don't know if you know about it but there is a database run by Hangover Cat - ntrdb.com (it's not just for NTR. Covers NTS, netori and a whole lot more ... a lot of stuff that doesn't belong there in my view but hey ... ). At some stage you may want your 'game' on there. I am a trusted editor so just drop me a line if you want that. I can get stuff on there without it being reviewed first. ... and I've decided to subscribe. Keep up the good work. All power to your elbow.

I can put on screenshots from the game as far as it goes. Keep the tags ... simple ... ish. I can do it now if you want. It's clearly going to to be NTS. I wouldn't be prepared to push it past that. I'll keep it ... subtle.
