The artificial structure around the sun was comprised of narrow strips that extended from hubs like the spokes of a wheel. Countless hubs and the arms extending from them formed a network that floated over the star like a flotilla city on a sea of fire. Team Biscuit took all this in as the cottage ship approached, the sheer distance making it take far longer than it had initially seemed.

By the time the sun was a wall occupying all the space in their sightline, they realised just how vast the artificial city was. The seemingly narrow arms that connected the hubs were not bridges or roadways, but sections of city that were dozens, if not hundreds of kilometres across.

“What do you call this?” Rufus asked. “A city? If what we’re seeing here wraps around the entire star, it has to be bigger than a planet.”

“Than planets habitable by most normal-rank species, yes,” Dawn confirmed. “There are more gold-rankers down there than there are people on Earth and Pallimustus combined.”

“And there are more stars like this?” Clive asked.

“Many more. The planets in the Imperium are the cradle, holding most of the low-ranking population. The sun cages are inhospitable to those below silver-rank, so most people move to the planets to raise families. Imperial labour laws are very generous in supporting this.”

“But there are some lower rankers here?” Neil asked.

“A handful. Mostly the children of those who are critical enough in their position that they are allowed exemptions. It’s dangerous, though. There are environmental controls, but there is only so much that can be done with a city located on a burning star. A system failure or a slip of protocol could kill bronze-rankers by the thousands in an instant. Even silver-rankers need to be careful. Health and safety laws require anyone below gold-rank to carry safety equipment in case of accident.”

Closing in on the city, the density of sky traffic increased. With most of the vessels looking technological, the cottage was an outlier, but not unique. A variety of other, more overtly magical transportation, would occasionally pass through their view. The city itself was a mix of enormous buildings, vast domes and enclosed tunnels. Glass and ceramic were the predominant building materials. The glass came in a rainbow of colours while the ceramic was mostly white, accented with bold reds.

Humphrey pointed out what looked to be a tower taller than most of the city’s buildings. Shrouded in colourful light, it sprayed rainbows like water from a fountain.

“A wholly unnecessary extravagance,” Dawn said. “An indulgence when the rest of the city exterior is so carefully regulated.”

“The city design does seem very uniform for something so large,” Rufus observed.

“Control of the city exterior is of maximal importance,” Dawn said. “It has to be, given the environment. The domes are more eclectic on the inside, where most people live and work. Each dome cluster has its own look and feel. Different architecture, different climates. The local councils have a lot of control on the culture, and tend to specialise. The specificity promotes tourism.”

“I’m guessing that outside of the domes, things are less safe,” Rufus said.

“Outside of the domes are the industrial spaces, travel hubs and the like. Non-residential areas are marked with artificial auras, so people know which sections are safe for their rank. That way, you don’t get silvers wandering into places that will kill anyone short of diamond-rank.”

“You don’t?” Belinda asked. “You can post signage all you like, you’re still going to get people who are stupid, arrogant, drunk, or all three. You’re telling me that no one goes where they shouldn’t?”

“There are always fools,” Dawn conceded. “There are safeguards and checkpoints to make sure children or the vulnerable don’t wander where they shouldn’t. As for the stupid and the arrogant, we live around a sphere of nuclear annihilation. It’s a problem that solves itself.”

“What is this city called?” Rufus asked.

“Fourth Ring,” Dawn said. “In the early days of the Imperium, the first constructs around the stars were rings whose only purpose was to draw power. This was before the advent of the accumulator towers that could be plunged directly into the sun. This star was the fourth one to be used this way, and now it’s the capital.”

“Why not the first three?” Estella asked.

“The Imperium has a long history. There are sections of our past that need to be remembered, so that their sins are never repeated. Star-killer magitech has been outlawed for thousands of years.”

“Star killer,” Humphrey repeated. “As in, destroying the sun?”

“Yes.”

“Why would anyone do that?”

“War,” Dawn said grimly. “Always war. In every society I’ve encountered across the cosmos, the ability to destroy develops faster than the wisdom not to. My home is no exception to this.”

“Speaking of which,” Sophie said, “this place makes our planet look like a shack in the woods. Couldn’t you throw a gold-rank army into some dimension ships and go smash all of Knowledge’s forces?”

“We could,” Dawn said. “And if I declared it so, we would, but that would open a dangerous door.”

“How so?” Sophie asked.

“For the same reason that diamond-rankers usually don’t intervene of Pallimustus,” Estella said.

“That is correct,” Dawn said. “The Imperium is not isolated in the cosmos, and for all our power, we are far from hegemonic. If the Imperium decides it’s going to intervene in some little conflict somewhere, then what is to stop anyone else? Colonialism happens, but the major powers must stay out of it or be ostracised. If they wish to extend their influence they must use proxies and supplemental forces. The cosmic pirates you defeated on Earth are quite typical. Inconsequential, expendable, deniable.”

“No galactic empire coming to the rescue, then,” Sophie said.

“Did you not watch any movies on Earth?” Belinda asked. “You never want the galactic empire to show up.”

“There are ways we can assist,” Dawn said. “We already are, as you will see soon enough, but we must be circumspect. It is the way things are done to avoid escalation. It also helps when dealing with a goddess who plucks every morsel of information from a person the moment they arrive on that goddess’ planet.”

The cottage ship approached one of the city hubs. As it drew closer, the team could see the design, which was an octagram with spokes branching off from the tips to connect with other sections of the hub network.

As the ship descended, it approached a building not contained under a dome. It was primarily white with red accents, typical of what they had seen elsewhere, but was exorbitantly vast. That one building could have contained most of the towns that the team had seen on their homeworld. On the roof of the flat building, a large symbol was set into it, in metal that blazed with reflected sunlight. It was an elaborately drawn octagram with a sunburst in the middle. As the ship approached, the roof split down the middle to slowly open, the sides rolling away into recesses at the building’s edges. Inside was a hangar filled with vessels, from ornate and decorative to plain and aggressive, bristling with weapons.

“Look,” Belinda said, pointing at one of the ships. “Doesn’t that look exactly like the pirate ship that attacked Earth?”

Jason, Shade and Gordon stood on the moor, watching the freshly uncorrupted souls rouse to consciousness. Colin was once again out and in his blood clone form, looking like a red-eyed version of Jason. He was clearly unhappy, glared at their surroundings as if they somehow owed him money.

“Do souls in the afterlife normally sleep?” Jason asked.

“It varies by afterlife,” Shade explained. “Some afterlives are unrecognisable to the sensibilities of the living. Others, like this one, are facsimiles of life. In such cases, the mimicking of biological processes is normal.”

“Does that mean that all these people are going to wake up and be in dire need of the bathroom?” Jason asked.

“I do not know,” Shade told him. “If that is the case, let us hope the facilities in that castle are robust.”

The army of former undead were a wildly eclectic bunch, both in outfits and in species. There were giants in armour that looked, to Jason’s eye, like they were from the Ottoman empire. There were creatures like centaurs, but instead of being half horse, their lower body was that of a grasshopper the size of a car. Most were roughly humanoid, give or a take a few limbs. One group looked like headless humans with scorpion tails that had a face in place of a stinger. Another appeared much like Indigenous Australians in pre-colonial outfits, weapons included.

“That’s a woomera,” Jason said. “It’s for chucking spears, it’s pretty sweet.”

Jason and his familiars watched as the groups milled about in confusion. There was no hostility, although their group did get a lot of curious looks. There looked to be a small amount of debate before a small delegation was sent in their direction. It consisted of four people, like Jason’s group.

One looked mostly human, but with flexible scales instead of skin and standing around seven feet tall. She, if Jason guessed the gender correctly, had the gear of a high-technology knight. What looked like glowing circuits traced across her sword, shield and half-plate armour. Another seemed human, a young man Jason would have pegged as Filipino if he were on Earth. He wore a simple loose garb that, other than its natural hemp colour, was not too different from Jason’s combat robe.

The third person looked like an orc. Green-skinned, he had the height and build of a professional wrestler, and one of the larger ones at that. Rather than ugly, his stubbled square jaw and sharp profile gave him the handsome profile of a conqueror. His armour was toughened leather with metal plates over vulnerable areas, clearly designed to not hamper mobility. He had a long-handled war hammer and an axe crossed across his back.

The final member of the group looked like a wind fairy, with pale grey skin and light blue hair, flecked with white. She was slender and slight, around Jason’s height, with striking blue eyes. Her hair danced down her back, teased by a breeze that didn’t exist.

They stopped before Jason, the two groups lined up like sports teams facing off. They took each other in with curious gazes until Jason broke the silence.

“I think it’s safe to say that we all have a lot of questions,” he said. “I think we should start with the obvious one.”

He looked to the looming orc.

“Those weapons tied to your back, they don’t look easy to just yank out in an unexpected combat situation. Do you have a magic bandolier, or a little bloke behind you doing and undoing bits of string? Or do you just put up with the inconvenience?”

The four newcomers all shared a look.

“That is what you consider the obvious question?” the human asked.

“Yep. Not to you, I suppose. You all seem to know each other, so you’ve probably known the little string guy for years.”

“I’ve met your kind before,” the orc said in a voice built for sensual R&B music. “You’re a fool.”

“You have met my kind before,” Jason said cheerfully.

“I think the actual questions,” the lizard techno-knight said, “should be more like ‘who are you,’ ‘what are you,’ ‘how did you get here’ and ‘what is going on?’”

“I see where you’re coming from,” Jason told her, “but if I’m being honest, those questions are a little pedestrian.”

“By which he means useful and pertinent,” Shade added. “I’m afraid that Mr Asano has trouble with appropriate manners.”

He gave Jason a pointed look.

“Which he could begin to rectify with a polite introduction.”

“Actually,” the wind fairy said, looking at the orc, “I’ve always wondered about your weapon situation myself.”

***

Glowing lights appeared in the space above the hanger, guiding the cottage ship into an empty place to land. There were people all around the hangar, maintaining the vessels it contained. Leaving the ship was as simple as stepping through the bubble at the edge of the garden. By the time they did, a platoon of knights in blue and gold armour came marching across the hanger in perfect twin-column formation.

“Sorry about this,” Dawn said as the knights approached. “We’re going to have to deal with a certain amount of ceremony.”

“This is why I don’t normally spend time with space princesses,” Belinda told her.

The knights reached them and those at the head of each column kneeled. The rest stood to rigid attention.

“Your Highness,” one of the Knights said. “We are here to escort you and your guests to Beacon Palace. Your parents are currently occupying the Cumulant Spire, in the private residence.”

“And our other guests?”

“The Baramean Palace.”

“Then I will meet my parents and you may guide my friends to the others.”

“Forgive me, your highness, but the Empress’ directions were quite explicit. You are all to attend her.”

“Very well. Lead on.”

***

The knights led Dawn, Helsveth and Team Biscuit through the palace, stopping in front of a set of relatively modest doors. These were only twice the height and five times the breadth of a human, making them downright modest by the standards they’d seen moving through the Beacon Palace thus far. They were somewhere high in a tower whose exterior was entirely crystalline, the faceted design shrouding it in rainbows whenever the sunlight hit it. Given that it was located on a sun, that was all the time. The resulting blaze of light explained the rainbow tower they had seen on approach, that Dawn had called an unnecessary extravagance.

The knights all kneeled in place as the doors opened of their own volition, sliding into recessed wall panels.

“Our escort will go no farther,” Dawn said. “Beyond these doors is the private residence of the royal family. The fact that you’re being let in is likely hitting the news portals already. A lot of people are going to be curious about you.”

Dawn strode through the doors like she was marching into battle. Helsveth gestured that they should follow and they all moved into a room the size of a sports arena. The doors closed behind them. The floor and ceiling were white marble, streaked with red and gold. The walls were the crystal walls of the tower, the room taking up an entire floor. The cavernous chamber looked all the more vast for being almost empty.

At the far side of the room was a marble platform that hovered just above the floor. A man and a woman sat in comfortable but opulent reading chairs on the platform. Both looked up at the group’s entry, sat their books down on side tables and stood.

The platform flew towards the visitors. Helsveth dropped to one knee and the others copied her, except for Dawn. The platform rushed across the room before suddenly decelerating to stop right in front of them. The pair standing on it seemed unaffected by the momentum. Both wore simple but exquisitely tailored clothes, with the octagram starburst symbol embroidered on the left breast. They were both celestines, his eyes and hair being the colour of brass. Hers were the same ruby as Dawn’s, the family resemblance clear. Both celestines had the youthful appearance and potent aura of diamond-rankers.

“Oh, do get up,” she scolded in the good-natured tone of a doting grandmother. “This is the only place in the whole Imperium that we don’t have to bother with that nonsense. And Helly, you should know better. The First Daughter of the World Phoenix does not kneel.”

“My apologies, Your Majesty,” Helsveth said as she got to her feet.

“Now, let’s get a look at the rest of you, this is so exciting. Dawnie never brings friends home.”

Mutny

I read the title and my first thought was 'that is not jason'

mhaj58

Really hope Dawns daughter appears next chapter. Nik talked about wanting a sibling last volume after all. Wink winks, nudge nudge. POW Chika wow wow

Unwillingmainer

All parts of Team Biscuit are making new friends today. One via introduction to royalty, something they know how to do, and the other through his patented version of nonsense, also something he is very familiar with. At least both groups have an adult with them to help them along. Humphrey and Shade respectively.

Redbevrd

Oh shit! Dawns parents!

Nathan Emerson

As soon as possible Jason needs to learn about the name Dawnie. Lol

Crows_Of

Every time I see there is a new chapter, makes my day so much better.

Chuck Haeberle

I could have sworn that Dawn's parents are supposed to be outworlders. Book 8 or 9, iirc. Or possibly 6. Somewhere either on Earth or back on Pali she talks about where Celestines come from and how her parents are outworlders.

michael shafer

DAWNIE!!! HA! Someone needs to tell Jason

McCainOffensive

Didn't Dawn say that her parents were both outworlders and not celestines?

Lonez Zhavec

Holy shit. Filipino mentioned. As a Filipino fan I am flabbergasted! 😱😱🇵🇭🇵🇭

Ligeia

I could swear I remember the team was told at some point that Dawn was born in the Sun Palace, a palace *inside* a sun. Interesting. I am very much looking forward to their interactions with Dawn's folks, though; I can see Dawn's regular embarrassment happening for sure -- although not as often as it would if Jason were there! This chapter opens all kinds of crazy avenues for the story to go!

Scott Way

2 things, I thought it was first sister not first daughter. And arent dawns parents outworlders not Celestine? Pretty sure that was in a previous book.

Xylily

this was my immediate thought too

Dexter Vex

I thought dawns parents were both outworlders? I remember her telling Jason that celestines are the product of 2 outworlders having children and that she was such a product

pyrite jester

I think Jason's real power from his fate sensors if finding people that play into his nonsense.

Dragon Slayer

Dawn's parents are outworlders as well right I remember reading that in book 8

pyrite jester

I'm pretty sure he has. Didn't the daimond rank garuda call her little dawnie?

socialleech

I think it was book 4 or 5 where Dawn talks about how celestines are made as the offspring of 2 outworlders. I don't recall if she explicitly said they were outworlders, but even if she did... I don't think there's anything that would prevent someone who is already a celestine from becoming an outworlder? Jason and Farrah are outworlders, but that isn't really something you can just see. They would be described as human since that is their form.

Enzo Scarnecchia

It could be that they are outworlder celestines, same as an outworlder elf. Or it could be a continuity error.

Arakrin

He knows it. Haliaster (or however that was written, I listened to the audiobook version), the Garuda from Yaresh, called her that in his presence :D

Arakrin

Thanks for the chapter. I love Dawn’s parents already, can’t wait for them to meet Jason :3

Arakrin

That would be funny as hell :’D But also sad, that was few decades ago, so that means that Jason, unbeknownst to him, was an absentee father :(

Arakrin

He already knows from his time in Yaresh. Garuda Haliaster called her “Little Dawnie”

Lochlan Yone

He did the Garuda haliaster called her that

Kristy Riedel

Both of Dawn's parents are Outworlders, which does not conflict with them having originally been Celestines.

Ruben

"She was slender and slight, around Jason’s height, with striking blue eyes. Her hair danced down her back, teased by a breeze that didn’t exist." For some reason, this section reminds me of how Eminem raps.

Elliott

Isn’t that what the Garuda called her when he met Jason?

Dave

ABTelford

I don’t know why the team biscuit part was chopped in half. I’d much prefer it to be all together. Then the cliff would be the fairy saying she wondered how the weapons came out too. I really want to hear the whole conversation with Jason and the new people, not a chopped up version like we got so much of after the fixing of the Cosmic Throne. Please, I beg of you, as an author, go back and do some content fill in to connect all those disconnected scenes. A light sprinkling of such scenes in the cake of a story is ok, but what we got was nothing but sprinkles for practically a whole book and, frankly, it sucked. I would just get invested in a scene to have it end, over and over, again and again. Please go back and extend and/or connect some of those scenes. Anyways, love this chapter! This is great quality!

Marcus Aurelius

Bring on the on the training montage. Team Biscuit is gonna have to wrestle with Jason’s fame ascending to a Great Astral Being and repairing the Comic Throne even before Jason visits Interstice. I’ve been excited for that reaction. I’m also wondering if Jason will win that dagger Thadwick has. When they found it originally it seemed very much up Jason’s alley. Plus with the soul engineering and its relation to shade….idk just a thought.

Soulessone

I am really sad this is the last book. With this whole new space empires and the like, you could have made one of them the big bad guy manipulating knowledge/jasons circumstances. But I still appreciate what we have and looking forward to the rest. TFTC shirt

Bryan Jackson

She did explicitly say that her parents were both outworlders. However, we weren't told what they were before becoming outworlders, so it's possible they were Celestine Outworlders

Jeff

Nearly every parent in this series so pleasant you don't see that often in this genre of books I reckon.

Dudrena

When was it said that Dawn had a daughter??? Did I miss that?

Jax Smith

Well. It was First Sister, see. But it's also daughter. Because of adoption and weird family dynamics. 😆

Wonderer

Dawnie for the W 😂❤️

Mist Sparrow

They could be both outworlder and Celestine, though it would be more interesting if they werent

Joanna

Pretty sure they're just joking around, Dudrena. The one time Jason and Dawn got together it was a magical, "dual cultivation" kind of thing, so probably not going to produce kids, I'd expect. Although you never know with magic

Joanna

I had thought so too. We'll see if anything's said about it

Betsy R

I was also thinking he might have found a new temporary bestie on this adventure and poor shade if they are on the same wavelength lol

NicN

RonGAR

Jason wouldn't have kneeled... He knew LONG AGO, it was both habit-forming and bad for the knees. LOLOLOL

R.B. Laser

Yes! Yes! Yes! This is it! I so love your writing! This is absolutely amazing, funny, perfect and beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing this tale with us all. I look so much forward to owning all the actual books, which I only do for the best series and books ever!

R.B. Laser

I would say that hedgemons will can never be replaced with anything better. Him using that sword would dishonour Gary!

Moonray

Didn't Soromir Rimoras also refer to Dawn as Dawnie?

Marcus Aurelius

I mean yes and no. It could just be a weapon in his arsenal….a god killer perhaps? You see where I’m going?

Mike Zebill

She said that Celestine come from two outworlders mating, not that her parents were

WathelBroaggie

Honestly, this. It's fine when a story switches perspectives, even in the middle of a chapter or in the middle of a conversation, however, when it happens constantly it starts to get so frustrating. I don't think HWFWM has had too much of that thankfully, it could be worse. It's still one of the most annoying ways to be told a story when it happens so frequently though.

WathelBroaggie

I hate that I can hear it too now. Heath Miller better say this with just a *slight* bit of melody in the audiobook so others get cursed with this knowledge XD

Kalanaere

Listen here! Nobody ...well ok maybe some weird people that don't really matter want to hear about Dawnie and Helly and their obviously weird relationship with Dawnie's parents; BUT those of us not insane and totally normal people, We demand answers to the very important question --> is there really a string guy? If so what does he look like? Is he invisible? is he really a he? does he get paid? what does he eat? Why does he have such a lame job?

Kalanaere

The more important question though is does Dawnie's parents know that their daughter hooked up with the living embodiment of Hegemony? ]

Kalanaere

See that would be all the better to have some kid just give Jason the sad puppy dog eyes and be like Papa why did you never come to my birthdays? Uncle Fertility said that isn't nice to do

Kalanaere

Of course he wouldn't kneel! He quite literally IS the Hedgemon. He's a Triumvirate of God, GAB, and AK. He is the System administrator. Anybody less than a GAB should probably just not piss Jason off.

Kalanaere

I honestly went straight to thinking of Ellie from DCC

Kalanaere

The sword that Umber helped to create and convince his previous summoner to install his own soul into? Yah Jason will use it and ram it stright through Umber until he ceases to exist forever.

Marcus Aurelius

I was thinking of knowledge. He did make a seemingly soul bound oath to kill her.

Jean L. Philippe Jr.

You right she did say that to Jason and Farrah after first few transformations zones happened on earth; but also followed it with “I am also the offspring of two outworlder parents”.

Niyokindi Thiery

Hold up. Wait a minute. What about the weapon. We did not get an answer on that.

Esther Prenosil

I kinda thought that if Jason did have a kid he didn't know about, it would be with Bellery from book 8.

Jack Trowell

Skippi g to another point of view without revealing the secret of the Orc was Evil 🥺

Esther Prenosil

Wasn't it that she was raised in the sun palace. She might not have been born there. 🤷

Esther Prenosil

I think Saromir Rimoras is supposed to be a palindrome.

Mitha

Well you can't see if someone is an outworlder. Jason looks human as well.

Logos

> These were only twice the height and five times the breadth of a human This is exactly how JK Rowling describes Hagrid's size. Two times the height, five times the width

Robert Wells

Dawnie?! This is going to be great!

Fiddlestix

It kills the momentum of the story and pulls you out of the immersion while reading, this is the first book where its been this irritating and im getting close to just putting the book down until it releases. It feels like every chapter is meant to end in a surprise wait and see and they arent really cohesive together as a story. Having chapters lead up to something bigger is normal of course to build anticipation but not every single one should be like this. Feels like im reading two different books.

Moonray

Right it was the Garuda. Thanks!

Jordan Jones

I’d really like to know Dawn’s current classification. What manner of transcendent is she? Or has this been covered and somehow missed?

Gh0st-Hunt3r

it took me awhile to find the exact quote but here is what Dawn said about this

Gh0st-Hunt3r

An outworlder breeding with another species will produce offspring of that species. Should two outworlders have a child, the result is a celestine. Of course, celestines can have more children with their own kind, which is how celestines propagate. I myself am a product of two outworlder parents.”

Gh0st-Hunt3r

I absolutely love this series. The first time i ran into it was Actually while i was serving a year sentence in jail for multiple possession charges and i found it in the library. when i got out i wanted to buy the book because i liked it so much and found out there was 12 other books thankyou for writing this series Shirtaloon and i hope you write more like it :)

J Holmes

It's gotta be magic, right? Otherwise his longtime companion would have met the string guy by now.

J Holmes

Wasn't there something about being not quite a palindrome, 'cause a full palindrome is kinda a haughty thing to name yourself? Or was that another series...

CaptainYumYum12

Either they see Jason as the bad boy that’s corrupting their darling daughter, or they love him and work together to embarrass dawn, maybe open up the baby photos haha

Worros

I think you might be right about being born inside a sun. Killing a sun probably involves a nova of some type. Giving birth while escaping Ring 1, 2 or 3 sounds appropriately dramatic for a space princess born of outworlder celestines

Worros

To the leaders of the cult?

Worros

We found Umbers only contract

Ariel

I just knew the half humans were going to be man-taurus as a mod to DCC

Luis Enrrique Herrera

this is how you kill a god right?, oh your a god mate.... nah now your mortal

Gh0st-Hunt3r

Honestly i believe its an Essence ........ here are the specifics LOL

Gh0st-Hunt3r

Name: Essence of the Void-Grove Orc Appearance: A medium-sized, shimmering orb of swirling purple and black smoke. It possesses an ethereal quality, appearing translucent and ghostly, pulsing with a dim, rhythmic light that seems to draw in the surrounding shadows.

Gh0st-Hunt3r

Active Ability: Spectral Gear-Warden Upon activation, a tiny, ethereal wooden figure—a miniature man crafted from void-touched bark—manifests on the user's shoulder. This spirit utilizes magical, vine-like strings of solidified wood to instantly secure any heavy weapon, such as an axe, to the user's back. This allows the user to transition from combat to a hands-free state instantaneously without needing a physical sheath or strap, ensuring their equipment is held with supernatural stability regardless of the user's movement. Passive Ability: Unyielding Void-Mind The user's physical and mental fortitude is permanently enhanced. Additionally, the gear-warden gains a significant resistance to external mental manipulation and mind-altering influences. The Spectral Gear-Warden remains permanently invisible to all creatures except for the user, allowing the user to manipulate their gear or store items via the spirit without others noticing the magical assistance.

socialleech

Oh... interesting. I wonder if Dawnie was feeling like she needed to be a bit more mysterious with the description of her parents?

Jyan91

“I’ve met your kind before,” the orc said in a voice built for sensual R&B music. “You’re a fool.” Love it 😁

Chris Layman

Soramir Rimaros, it's a true palindrome

Chris Layman

It seems like Hegemon's Will can reconfigure to take on the special abilities of other weapons he possesses, no? Or just ones he can summon?

ExistentialBane

Joanna, Jason and Dawn got together more than once. They had an ongoing relationship afore Dawn left Palli

JW Saxby

👍🏼😁 Tyftc 🍻

Chris Layman

I think it would be dangerous for Dawn to carry a normal rank baby in her peak diamond body into her transcendence; since she's a Celestine and he's an outworlder, it might not be impossible for a pregnancy to occur if they physically mated, but it seems perilous.

Kalanaere

Jason will bribe them with food and definitely go the embarrassing Dawn route

Khuri

Man, if only Travis was here. He knew Dawn was a space princess, and this would make his day.

ABTelford

How often will these chapters be unlocking for the $5 tier? Because Patreon won’t let me upgrade while Author is on hiatus and I want to k ow when I can expect chapters to unlock. Thx

Mitha

Dawnie and Helly. This has further potential.
