TL;DR:

I'll be doing an online event with Matt Dinniman for Waterstones UK.

Time will be 7pm UK time, about 12 hours after this post goes live.

That is 2pm US Eastern, and a delightful 5am here in Australia.

This is a TICKETED event, tickets available here: https://www.waterstones.com/events/online-event-matt-dinniman-and-shirtaloon-in-conversation/online-events

Books from book and ticket bundles can only be posted to the UK.

In about 12 hours I'll be having an online conversation with Matt Dinniman for UK book chain Waterstones. This is a ticketed event, which can be purchased using the link above. The event will be moderated by Maude Garrett, of Maude's Book Club, who I have met several times and and is a lovely person. More importantly, she's a fellow Aussie, so she understands what Jason is talking about most of the time.

Note that if you buy a book and ticket bundle, they will only send the books to a UK postcode.

These damn time differences, I’ll be in the middle of work when this happens and won’t be able to partake 😭

Jacob

No chapter tomorrow? Next week correct

Christine Breen

Do you happen to know a UK forwarding service? I was just reading your book 9 when I took a break and saw this!

Jess

Yay! Snagged a ticket. Thanks for sharing!

Brock Nichols

Will the exclusive books be available for purchase for non UK, and America after the event?

Jack Taylor

i'm now imagining Donut and Stache having a chat while Carl just talks to Jason and Co about all the bullsh*t that's happened to him

Nemesis

I don't think ANYONE understands what Jason is talking about ALL the time 😜

Rodrigo Alencar

Is this basically you saying who will interpret Jason in a TV show version? Lol

Gabe S

If we buy a ticket but can't make it love, will there be a recording of the event?

Sakura

Luckily that's when I take my lunch break! So I can at least listen to part of it. 😄

Juhmes(Jums)

Daaaaamn, I was really hoping that they would record so you could watch after but it's not mentioned anywhere 😢

Alejandro Piña

Not to mention Mordecay hitting it off with Clive’s wife, and Belinda scheming with Samantha

Soli116

Maybe not even Jason.

Steve Parks

Goddammit Jason….(after another air wolf reference)

brett wolfe

I tried to buy a ticket but it wouldn't send me a verification code 😔

iknight60

No way! Donut wouldn’t want anything to do with Stache, he’s practically a dog. Donut and Jason would be arguing about movies and tv shows while Carl talks to Jason’s friends

Jack Taylor

fair. i just picked the two "little guys (gender neutral)" of the groups

David White

Loved the interview. Thanks!

Andrea W

You did well Travis even if you looked ready for your bed. My hubby made me get the book in his name to match all his David Gemell and Raymond E Feist signed books. I did particularly like Maudes outburst at the end lol.

Andrea W

Donut and Farrah would be having sass-offs. Now that WOULD be fun.

Andrea W

There were only so many tickets so they may have sold out.

Jack Taylor

I just accept i'm an american snd worst case, I google it and discover a new thing

Joshua Dogin

How was the event? Would have loved to attend. Love both authors!

Alejandro Piña

And at some point Sarah and donut would be hitting the bar

ABTelford

I just started reading HWFWM 13 and the Autjors Note mentioned Appendices for the detailed Power abilities descriptions and, since I’m rereading book 10 right now…I really want you to come out with a 2nd edition of these books where you par down the in-text descriptions of powers so it’s a smoother read. Please? Having a “newly and improved, edited for smoother reading” would be AWEsome! And please add more dialogue tags so ADHD people like me can know who is saying what after the 3rd or so line of back n forth. Please?🙏🏼?

drag0nreb0rn

Tell him to drop a patreon chapter

JJ Davis

Sorry I missed this! I'm almost finished with He Who Fights Monsters 2, looking forward to the rest of the series! Dinneman's being really sparing with his Book 9 Patreon chapter drops, so I was forced to branch out and so glad I did!!
