Now that you’ve seen these episodes … While I thoroughly enjoyed Kenobi, the part that fell flat for me was Reva surviving a gut wound from a light saber. Look at Darth Maul, and yes I know being cut in half is more traumatic, but he actually trained in the dark side. He knew it. And he went so far into the dark side to stay alive that he lost his mind. Even after, literally magically, being brought back from insanity his lust for revenge was insatiable. Reva was a child trained in the light. I don’t feel that she could muster the dark so deeply and keep her own mind intact. And then there was the Grand Inquisitor who talks about revenge in passing. No passion, no real revenge in his eyes, just a mention of it. To me this was a bit of a slap against these wonderful episodes in Clone Wars. Almost like they saw people liked this so let’s just keep using it as a way to bring people back to life. Anyways again I loved Kenobi for so many things, but this piece bugged me because it was treated so well in the Maul Arc.

Ye you can survive horrific injuries through the use of the dark side but it does take a tole on your sanity. Arguably Revas moral compass got fucked up and she went a bit psychotic but Vader and Maul went full blown crazy. Vader Developed something a kin to D.I.D(believing he was now someone completely new) and Mauls brain went into full blow Crazy. But tbh a stab wound isn't as bad as being chopped in half or chopped up and lit on fire. I hate Revas writing but there is an argument that it most with her moral compass and made her a psychopath but the show never explores this interesting idea so... ima agree with you 👍

I love how, after every video Holden is like, "This is my new favorite arc" hahaha. We told you. Hold on, get through the first handful of episodes and it will all pay off. Excited to see what comes next!
