The actress Iman Vellani, this is her FIRST acting gig outside of stuff she did in high school classes. Never even done as much as a tv commercial before. The counselors initials (GWW) are the initials of the writer of the comics G Willow Willson. From youtubers who say they are Muslim or Pakistani, they had nothing but good things to say about this series. RE: Capt Marvel cosplay, it wasn't about being risque, but moreso that it was so tight. Tight clothing is frowned upon in Muslim culture, especially for women. Camp Lehigh where Avengercon was, is the same camp that Captain America trained.
