I wanted to drop you a little message in here as I’m about to start another writing session for the lyrics of the new VOA album!

This is my writing corner. Simple, clear. I love this transparent desk that makes the light go through and which feels less heavy than plain material. I don’t live in a big flat so I must keep all furniture light!

I’m writing the lyrics by hand, I found out it helps me get into them better. My computer is here for the music, I got all the songs on a Google drive folder from our producer, and for a couple of websites to help me with English or when I need to make research on a specific topic.

I’m drinking a lot of tea and herbal tea while writing and I love using this mug with that tropical touch! 🌴 Helps my imagination out of the grey walls of my town!

You might notice the tiny ship too, the last one from the Antics Atlantis Wonders collection from 2019, that I kept for myself! 😋 Everytime I feel distracted or that I’m losing track of my story, I look at it and I imagine myself on board, crushing the waves to an unknown destination!

So yes, I would say that visual elements totally support creativity and inspiration!

There are 2 note books on my desk. The small one shows a page where I keep track of what I have written so far and what is left to be written, corrected... The big one is where I actually write lyrics. I had to put page markers cause I got tired of searching for song pages! Could never remember which song was where haha 😄

The small plant is an aloe vera. I actually am able to track its growth week by week! 😄

And the golden circle is engraved with the Metatron’s cube. A sacred geometry figure I felt a strong connection to.

So far 7 lyrics out of 12 are done and I have a bit less than 2 weeks to finish the others so I have to get going! That’s also the reason why I am less active on social media...!
