October Update 🍂 (Patreon)

Hello Me Hearties!

October just came to an end and I thought I could share with you what happened to me this month!

- VOA 🌊

I wrote the script for the first video coming from our upcoming album and we are discussing who to shoot it with. We might have found the company unfortunately it is not available before the end of December so we might have to post pone the album release to April or May 2022. But we want to be able to deliver the best content that we can and we prefer to postpone than to compromise on this. The tour we were supposed to join in May also got postponed to 2023, so it makes even more sense not to stick to the release date of March 2022 if we are not ready for it. The good news is that the cover artwork is finished!! 🔥 It is a bit too early for me to reveal it here now but I will do it in due time!

- My personal project ✨

Still on the music side, Meek and I made more writing sessions and a first song is really getting in shape! I was a bit torn when it comes to the musical style as the first draft had more of a pop/rock vibe than a metal one. But hearing how we wanted the song to develop, I realized metal is such a big part of my musical journey that I don't really want to create something that would be totally out of that genre. So no matter how this project comes out, it will have a serious metal vibe which is combined with more pop and rock influences as pop was my first love music-wise! I'm really happy that the musical direction is clearer to me as it really makes everything flows more easily now! Can't wait to share this work with you as soon as possible!

- SHEWOLF 🐺

I don't know if you follow Michele (from VOA) on social media but he just announced that he's been working for a new project called SHEWOLF! I'm so happy for him! He teamed up with Marco from Temperance and Angel Wolf-Black, an amazing singer from Greece whom I've met back in the days, in 2012/2013 where Eve's Apple (a community of female vocalists) was active. Angel and I had a great connection and we became friends almost immediately. We made a duet at Metal Female's Voices fest back then, you can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKEOPrpArGY

I shot behind the scenes pictures from the official photoshoot for SHEWOLF and I will share them with you here in due time! You can already follow this project on social media!

- LEAVES'EYES 🦋

Back in July 2020, I had recorded a new version of the song "Black Butterfly" with LEAVES'EYES and the official video came out a couple of days ago!

- SOUNDS LIKE HELL Productions👩🏻‍💻🦇

On the other side of music, where I am not the artist but the producer, I went back to Lyon twice to host AMENRA and THE PINEAPPLETHIEF! People are coming back to the shows and it feels so good to have live music around again. I am hiring a new person in December to handle the shows, so that I won't have to in Lyon every time, which will give me more time to work on my own music!

- Personal life 💁🏻‍♀️

On a more personal level, this month I had the chance to go back to Venice with some new Italian friends. They made me discover new very nice places! This city is so unique, I'm kinda addicted to its vibes and I feel the need to return there regularly haha!

My Dad is born in October and I went to visit him in Paris for the occasion. We went up the Arc de Triomphe which I had never done before and it was amazing to see the city from this perspective! There are not too many tourists in my capital city at the moment so it makes strolling its streets a real pleasant moment.

I also had the chance to visit Northern parts of Italy, right close to the Austrian border, as Meek and I took some time off last week-end! I'm loving living in this region and I can't wait to explore more of it once the authorities accept my request for Italian residency and I could buy a car..!

So what's coming up in November:

- finalizing the script and outfits for the first VOA video shoot

- continuing writing songs with Meek

- writing the hand lyrics for the Pirate and Free Spirits in here!! So Josiah, Mauro, Patrick, Daniel, William and Julia from VOA Sailors, let me know which song from "Wanderers" you would like to receive the hand written lyrics of! 📜

Last but not least, I would like to welcome fresh blood on board! Please make a warm welcome to Josiah, Bernie, Thibault and Pavla, our new Hearties who joined us in October! 🏴‍☠️🖤

Thank you all for your solid support and I can't wait to meet some of you in December and to share new music with all of you very soon!

Take care,
Clementine
