November Update 🌧️ (Patreon)

Hello my dear Heartiiiiies!!!!

This is literally the "calm" before the real storm... I am not publishing much content here because I'm in the middle of creating my creative space as well as practicing and writing new songs, scheduling the shootings for VOA, writing video scripts... so for now, it's the hidden part of the iceberg of the artist life and soon I will have so much to share with you....🔥

So, what was November about!

✍️ I started practicing my hand writing for the Pirates and Free Spirits in here whom I'm preparing hand written lyrics for! I am not finished because I am still not yet satisfied with the results... So I keep practicing! (I used to be even worst of a perfectionist hahah, I'm working on this 😅) More to come soon!

🍷🍕 I also started the month with some nice social interactions here in Italy as I still don't know too many  people! Chiara Tricarico from Moonlight Haze, whom I had the great pleasure to share the backing vocals booth on stage with Tarja in 2020, invited me over to spend a day with her since we live quite closely now! So we went wine tasting, having a pizza (vegan for me, with fresh seasonal mushrooms 😋) and spending some good time together!
It felt nice to move around this new region and deepen relationships as otherwise, since I don't have a car yet I spent a lot of my time at home handling all my projects.

🎨 I continued to work on my watercolor skills. Since it had been a while that I hadn't used my brushes regularly, I felt kinda needing to start from the beginning, getting used to my palettes again, working on color theory.... More to come soon!

🌊Then with VOA we went rehearsing for a week-end in Austria, to prepare Winter Masters of Rock and to start practicing new songs!! Oh man there are quite demanding but also soooo satisfying to perform!! I really can't wait for you all to hear our brand new record! 🤩When we do this, generally Meek and I drive to Bruck, we stay at an Air B&B for 2 nights in order to be able to rehearse for 2 full afternoons! That's needed when we don't rehearse too regularly, to make longer sessions, especially when we are trying new songs for the first time. We also took the time to work on our in-ear sound and we all felt way more comfortable!

✨ During the following week Meek and I locked ourselves in his studio at The Groove Factory again and we finalized what I want to call Song #1 of my personal project! This is so exciting!! I need to write the lyrics now but the song structure, vocal lines and ambience are done and I'm so happy about it! I'm actually starting to have an idea how and when to release the first song...!🔥 

💎 On the following week-end I went by train to Mantova to attend Temperance's release show party!! It was so nice to attend a concert again, as a spectator, not as an performing artist or promoter... and I really enjoyed their performance. There's such nice energy coming from the singers mostly, I had a real good time! I'm super happy for Meek too as I believe DIAMANTI to be a really good album. We have been able to talk about it on Discord with those of you who have joined my channel!
I was very happy to meet with two of you there, Julia and Heiko! 

🪛 Then for a couple of days, I worked on creating my creative studio. I have a large room in my new flat that I want to dedicate to art making and I had to take some time to define what I needed in terms of furniture and then go buy and mount it. It's not finished yet but at least now I have a large working space and I am so happy about it! More pictures to come soon! 

🌊 At the end of the month, with VOA we went to Czech Republic to perform our last show of the year as our December tour got postpone in the meantime... It was a wonderful yet bittersweet moment. For now we don't have show perspectives before May, that's another 6 months off stage. And 6 months for you to wait again as I know some of you had tickets for our December shows... I truly hope we will see the end of this crisis within the first semester of 2022. 🙏
When it comes to Winter Masters Of Rock, we honestly didn't think this show would take place considering the measures that the country and the countries around were taking... It was an amazing surprise to be able to perform there in front of a real standing audience again! We really can't wait to get back on stage...!

🎥 During this month I also wrote 2 of the scripts of our upcoming videos, co-designed our upcoming photoshoot, took part in the scheduling and organisation of all this... We are not going to make 2 but 3 videos (if not 4!!) for our next record and there's a lot to think about and plan!

👩🏻‍💻 On November 30th I flew to Lyon to go through 3 days of meetings and work with my team as we just hired a new person to handle the shows when I'm not there!

Now, what's up this month...? 

✨ Well, more than a week has passed, so I can already say that we are almost done with Song #2 of my new project  🤩 Meek loves what we are doing and he told me "I see the record...!" meaning he can picture a whole album out of our tracks and it's so fulfilling to work with someone who shares your joy and belief in a new artistic project.... Be ready for quite new music in 2022...!

Christmas is in the air, as well as the strong winds coming with a new start with every beginning of year... I have much hope for 2022! 💫 I am going to spend Christmas in France, with my mum and my sister, in the mountains! Then I will visit my Dad before flying back to Udine. I might spent New Year's Eve here with friends!
