easily one of my favorite episodes in the entire show (you'll find me saying that a lot in book 3 lol). the way the parallels are drawn between the avatar and fire lord/prince, past and present, are so beautiful and impactful.

Shout out to Fang. I was wondering how he ended up in the spirit world with Roku. I just assumed he died at a later time, but he protected Roku as best he could and went out with him. Remember, Roku was married. He had a child or children. One of them got married and had a daughter (Zuko's mother) and she married Fire Lord Ozo, at that time he was just a prince, and second in line.

One of the biggest reasons why Azula and Zuko are so strong is because of their ancestors. Having both Sozin's and Roku's genes created a pair of seriously powerful firebenders. They were literally bred to be elite on purpose.
