me + pastels = a good time (Patreon)

me and oil pastels are like two peas in a pod. there's rarely an occasion where I don't add them in, even just a little bit. I love using them layered over paint or even just on their own. no matter what, they always seem to be just what I need. :-)

I used the caran d'ache neoarts for these, which are a hard wax pastel and feel halfway between a crayon and an oil pastel. I'm very curious to try the caran d'ache neopastels (could the names be any more similar and confusing? <3), which are softer and blend more easily. little by little I will try all the different oil pastels this beautiful world has to offer.
