I get it the man even thought works for a big guild he saw a possible powerful hunter and went in first just doing basic info search cause he thought jin would not have have the skill to negotiate and he would say yes to the first offer and did so fast cause if he saw jin other guilds might do the same so he opted for a deeper search that would take time and got caught so jkin as he is now is the "fuck no more being weak and being pushed around" kind of guy. plus it would be bad to actually hurt people so he gave them a warning to not try anything funny at since they are a big guild that amount was probably negligible. thought now imagine him saying to the boss of the guild that he got scammed for 900 mil yeah he gonna get chew out either way lost money and didn't get the hunter.
