Yeah it's not explicitly romantic, but it is a very intimate moment between the two where they're able to confide in and comfort each other (which is sort of romantic in a way)

I've been told a million times already "BUT THE ROMANTIC SUBTEXT". 🥲 I'm like yes I understand, I love this ship very much, but the trauma and need for comfort/therapy after killing someone/witnessing someone die for you is more important than romance and I applaud Horikoshi for this. He could of made it stupid by making them confess or kiss or something. This was much more meaningful in many ways.
