It is INSANE to me that the OP2 spoils the fucking Watchman. That is an inexcusable spoiler in my mind and would have been so easy to leave out for maximum shock factor. It’s such incredible imagery and so iconic, yet they ruined the impact by including it in the OP. The full thing too, not even just a hint towards it or anything. The worst part though is that there is a second spoiler they haven’t even revealed yet. So this OP has two spoilers, one revealed in episode 22 of 24 and the other that hasn’t even actually been revealed yet. That’s ridiculous. The second spoiler isn’t nearly as crazy and I’m sure many could guess it, but it’s still so incredibly dumb to have spoilers for your last 3 episodes revealed half way through the season.

Yeah I don’t understand why anime studios greenlight such heavy spoilers for openings. I guess they assume everyone has read the manga before the adaptation or something, idk.

Naw, I think you need the watchman series to go up. Cause that dude who flew up took amo's boots before he flew up, then he gave them back. Rudo had his own watchman series. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy who flew up and killed regto ALSO has a piece, and the person he took with him needed their own piece. That's my theory, there have been many BIG reveals in the manga so far, but we still haven't exactly cracked this specific mystery of HOW they get up and down, and survive. So in this, manga readers know as much as anime watchers.

Spoilers in general are definitely to hype manga fans about what’s coming, but there’s a fine line between hints to hype up the fanbase and outright showing one of the biggest reveals in the entire series. JoJo does spoilers wonderfully, by hiding most of their spoilers in more subtle symbolism. I can accept the most common spoilers like the OP showing characters we haven’t met yet (Cinderella Grey is actually a great example, the song stayed the same but when Oguri swapped to Nationals the visuals switched to all the new rivals she’d face there before we even met them). I draw the line at spoiling genuine plot twists. There’s a difference between revealing a character early and dropping one of the most iconic panels in the entire manga 10 episodes early, lol.
