9:20 God I love the Kikuka Sho fanfare!! 🎺🎺🎺 And now we got Super Creek, the second member of Japan’s Heisei Three alongside Oguri Cap. Some facts pertaining to Creek: • He was born a very sickly horse, much so that his debut was delayed due to stomach issues. Because of this, some doubts were raised about her viability in the big leagues. But as you can see, despite her ara-ara personality we know of in the game and Pretty Derby… she’s a very Creeky girl, the kind you better not take home to mother. 3000 meters = ~ 1 ⅞ miles

Damn I was trying to watch for the moment when Taylor figured out his mike was off but I got to into the race and missed it.😅 I only had one question during this whole race. Why the fuck does Super Creek have a damn purse? I get the blue dress for Cinderella but the purse? Imagine if that shit got caught?😖 Javon is not to far off the mark by the way about the racer set up. Nice catch! 😁

Right lol, it was in his pocket and he had it muted so I think he did it on the low 😂

MAMA CREEK FINALLY STEPS ON THE STAGE! Here are some interesting facts about this episode and more. 1. This race is the 1988 Kikuka Sho. Just like in the anime, Super creek IRL along side his jockey Yutaka Take, took advantage of the gap between railings and cut from the inside leading to a straight spurt to the finish. Super Creek won by 5 horse lengths. 2. Speaking of Yutaka Take, he is the main jockey for super creek during his career and is still an active jockey till this day. Yutaka Take is know as THE legendary jockey having amassed a total of 4600+ wins as of writing. He has also rode on majority of the characters in uma musume including Oguri Cap. 3. Fumino Nase, the new trainer, is said to pay homage to Yutaka Take and Super Creeks IRL relationship. Super Creek being the one to give Take his first G1 victory (specifically this race) and pave the way for his legendary career. 4. The term "Stayer" in this context is given to horses who have seemingly endless amount of stamina. Super Creek was a long track specialist. Her stride in the anime is in reference to the actual horses way of running. Having a very long and delicate stride while maintaining stamina.
