Alright rundown of the power system: starting from the bottom it goes Beginner, intermediate, advanced, saint, king, emperor and divine/god. Achieving the rank of advanced in any school is impressive so anything higher is quite special example of advanced people are Paul was advanced in all 3 sword styles which is not common to do and Cliff is advanced in multiple magic types which makes both of them prodigies. Beginner-Advanced has a most of the techniques with them while saint tier and above have fewer but more powerful. As we saw Eris is Saint class right so is Rudy but his power level is different he knows up to saint class water spells but his spells have a lot more power behind them because he can manipulate his mana with silent casting to pour more mana into the spell example is his stone cannon that is a intermediate spell but he can manipulate its shape speed and power making it on the level of an emperor class spell so his rank just tells us what spells he knows but healing and detox is different he cant manipulate those spells as he has to say them out loud and he doesnt know strong healing/detox spells. Ghislaine, Roxy and Isode are King class which puts you into the elite level and you wont come across many people at this level. With emperor tier thats very rare example would be Ruijerd he is about that level of a warrior. God class is well it is what it sounds like the very best of said school being one of the strongest in the world. The Water God is right below the 7 great powers but still is no joke. The 7 Include 1 Technique God 2 Dragon God 3 Fighting God 4 Demon God 5 Death God 6 Sword God and 7 North God. So they briefly mentioned it but Battle Aura is when you use mana to envelope your body enhancing it you know stronger faster tougher better sences that sort of thing the higher rank you are the stronger that battle aura is. Orsted has the strongest Battle Aura ever to the point that a emperor class spell is required to hurt him so good luck with that. Rudy however cant use Battle Aura at all making him a squishy he can dish out massive power but he cant take it at all he is like an athlete. Sorry for the long comment

I forgot to mention that magic spells just get bigger the higher class you get like a king spell wont be that different than a saint spell mainly just area of effect and power

I know these two episodes was about Eris but man can we see how far Rudeus has come from the creepy kid that he was back when she left him to get stronger to how he had matured a bit by the time he had gotten into the school, even though he still had ED at the time.🤭 I am assuming that next episode we are going to catch back up with Rudeus and his family and see where they are and then once all that is settled the two stories will converge and we will see some fireworks for sure!🧐 I do want to go back to S2 and see if Nina was there just lurking in the background. I wonder if the continuity is there.🤔 Oh and ERIS BUSTED A FUCKING FROZEN WATERFALL! LIKE WHAT THE FUCK!😲

One interesting thing in the lore that I find interesting is how “god” is used. Depending on era it can either be someone of significant power in a certain skill like the sword forms or magic and so on, or it could be an ancient deity like we think of. I won’t go further than this because it gets more complicated and maybe spoilery.
