Just Another Josh

Was waiting all day for this reaction. Every manga reader knew this first episode was going to be hilarious for anime-only because Chiyo is a CRAZY first addition to the roster. We’re starting off with one of the most insane additions from episode one. I then find it absolutely hilarious that the studio saw they had to adapt such a crazy new addition and decided “Fuck it, spoil EVERYTHING” and dropped a later chapter at the beginning. That’s such a ridiculous choice and I love it so much. The manga is filled with unique fourth wall breaks so it’s only fair the anime goes wild with it too. So start season 3 with talks about the opening being unfinished, spoiling upcoming girls, and then adapting a chapter WAY too early. They also purposefully picked a chapter that leaves one of the upcoming girls unspoiled, the craziest addition of them all. It’s going to be so fucking good when you all get to that point. Also, the ED is kinda a banger. They went way heavier and more high energy than I ever expected.
