Nice. One of these days I may go to GenCon. It's just so tedious to fly there from Hawai'i. :P

Excited to watch Professor

The Harn World products by Columbia Games are also very good, I picked up every book I could last year

I will be running a one shot at the Kobold Press booth this year. You should sit in and play. I am running a Richard Green written story and he is great. You should do a review of Empire of the Ghouls. That is actually a great idea.

Drago Russo

Safe travels and I will definitely see you Saturday night as I already bought a ticket and hoping to be chosen, wink wink. Take care of yourself.

Bruce Basson

LOL! Steak and Shake at 11am in comfortable shoes!

Hi professor, I will be there and I hope to meet you for a quick photo and chat. Thanks for this video. See you!

Scott

Looks awesome! Sad I'm going to miss it, maybe next year.

@Bagel-Man I agree, it was not fair, it was still daylight in Hawaii

@Bagel-Man My man, yes HarnWorld is the old school bombdiggity. I have been a collector since 1985. The new hardcover kingdom books are a great series and Lythia.com is a fantastic fan site and forum for all things Harn. Also Columbia games makes awesome board games too.

MrGunn

Dear Professor: Thanks for sharing your GenCon plans with us. I laughed when you described how you 'walked' through the dealers exhibit hall, my experience was that you bumped your way through the crowd. Lot's of cool RPGs and RPG related stuff you shared; Shadows of the Flame Princess, Shadowdark, Free League (although you failed to mention their Lord of the Rings RPG), Cyberpunk, Castles & Crusades (very crunchy), Pathfinder (too crunchy). Gotta hit the Chessex booth, b/c you cannot have enough dice. The generic tickets is a good tip, also folks should concentrate on games they don't normally get to play due to lack of availibility/interest in their area, such as large tabletop minis games or odd board games and RPGs. I agree GenCon's venue is huge, so much walking, if you are out of shape you will get sweaty and worn out, so hydrate, wear comfortable shoes, and use deodorant. Finally, be careful of con crud, Covid is going around this summer, clean hands, masks, and vitamins are a good idea. Have a great time, I look forward to a game play and loot report. Best regards, MrGunn

The only Harn books I have are the “Kingdom of…” series. At the time when I got them last year the only 4 that they were selling were Kaldor, Melderyn, Rethem, and Orbaal. All have been great, Kaldor is my favorite so far but I’m hoping to pick up Azadmere.

@Bagel-Man Azadmere is out, and you need to pick up the HarnWorld hardcover. Tharda just shipped and the Kanday Kickstarter recently closed. We are looking at a Chybisa Kickstarter and finally Eveal (The Elven Kingdom).

@MrGunn No sir, I am not able to attend. I probably won't attend another GenCon, too much effort. I am attending Mythic Con in Charlotte this year. On my list are Historicon, North Texas, and Origins (when I find a new job).

@MrGunn, Hopefully they have those at their stand in a week or so, it'll likely be the first one I visit.

Where is the Lurking Fears room at GenCon?
