The U S hasn't declared war since 1942 against Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria.

A niche, cottage industry. Many of these companies seemed balanced on a knife's edge, regardless. If the uncertainty over tariffs hadn't driven them into bankruptcy, it seems highly like any significant perturbation to the US or global economy would have spelled doom for them. Sorry to see them go under, but the idea this cottage industry could mount a successful class action law suit against the US government is delusional.
