Loved the example of game play. Your group has a great sense of humor and the game mechanics didn't get in the way of the story.

Martin

Great fun! I was enjoying the combat results. Very visceral.

Joshua Leipciger

Your narration style is very concise and makes combat seem urgent. Fantastic pace, no getting bored waiting for your turn.

Christian Jacobsen

Good stuff. I thought it was more enjoyable to watch than the combats on the popular streaming games.

Randall Case

I do the same thing with my magical items, at least until they identify them. But after a while I give them the mechanics to work with as it lightens the load on me. Honestly, I would forget about the +3 ring of protection during a melee. It's easy to do as a DM because you're keeping track of a lot of other things. It is cooler to do what you're doing, but after a bit I think it's better to turn it over to the player.
