Wesley Crusher has a good video over on Table Top that covers the basics of Dread game play: Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0loSZFsyoQ The down side seems to be once a player is dead they have to sit out the rest of the game.

In the vein of films from the noir era, I just watched, "Kansas City Confidential", a 1950s black & white crime drama on Prime. To summarize the plot: it starts with flowers and ends with a bang and a kiss. The hero is a patsy ex-on who gets framed for a crime he did not commit. The hero then follows some leads to find the real criminals, avarice and greed end with justice being served and all the real plotters dead, there is even a final plot twist and a love interest. Not a great film, but there is certainly an adaptable adventure in there. Worth watching if you have 98 minutes to spare.

Cool. But my first thought when I got the notice was, "Hey, an Eldritch Hacks scenario." :) But seriously. Film noir is under appreciated these days.
