Currently working on a video about the trend in d6 games--Candela Obscura, Dungeonworld, Tiny Dungeon, Ezd6 and the rise in rules light systems in general. Since I just read the rules Thursday, this is taking some time. I'm going to air this review/overview on Tuesday, so I'm working as fast as I can. Complicating things are my wife's niece is visiting from Kansas (she's sleeping in my YouTube studio) and her extended family is coming over for a barbecue, and I am apparently the GM--grill master.

Despite the delay I can promise YOU will see it as soon as I can finish it AND it has the greatest Deathbringer outro EVER. Thanks for your patience!

I feel like we need a Deathbringer supercut of outros.

Take your time. Family always comes first.

Now you got me interested in what kind of barbecue you're doing. I'm smoking a brisket for tomorrow's game--I was just about to start making the sauce when I saw this in my email. You're a man of many parts--GM emeritus and pit-master.

I like the simplicity and cool design of these d6 systems, but my heart will always belong to funny dice with many sides.

Take care of the family first. But there's a couple of thoughts to add. I think rules lite systems are growing because they are easier to use with a VTT. It's that simple. And d6 pool games have been around along time. There's Tunnels & Trolls, West End Games' Star Wars RPG, and Shadowrun.

Grilling and chopping meat is the job of Deathbringer...
