Really nice video, great job!

Well done DB, exploiting the work of an under paid Teacher's Assistant for free labour to review this game, keep on keeping it evil! Great job Kira, thank you for your service as a future teacher. Now it is time to demand a cut of PDM's sweet sweet Patreon hoard, lest you complain to the administration about unauthorized use of TA time for non-school related purposes... }|-[ ;P

My assessment - The lighting was clear, sound quality on point, video quality crisp. Kira clearly knew and understood the subject matter she was presenting, was articulate, easily understood, made good use of examples to better explain the genre, utilized visual aids such as the book, art, and website support material in a meaningful way bolstering her talking points and exhibited solid enthusiasm about the material to maintained interest. Overall, outstanding job. At a glance, a game such as this might not interest me. However, the presentation kept me curious, giving me food for thought as to what I might co-opt into other TTRPGs for my more socially inclined players. Good Society seems to sharply contrast the typical fantasy game of swords and sorcery being more of a war game skirmish type of TTRPG with some roleplaying elements. In some ways, reminds me of the type of drama, mystery, and espionage mixed with both political and social intrigue found in works such as Game of Thrones. I can easily see how some facets of this game could be co-opted into other TTRPGs for more social environments. Motivation, reputation, and flaws being some of those aspects and will likely ensure characters have them and are rewarded for playing up to them especially if it causes drama or gets them into trouble. So, I found this video much more useful than I anticipated. Thanks.

Excellent video and review. Kira's presentation was excellent. I saw this game for sale while I was at the UK Games Expo but didn't get a chance to peruse it. Not really my type of game but my wife overheard this review and now I think I may be doomed to have to try it....

Great job. I am actually a fan of these types of stories. I grew up with my parents working and my great grandmother watched soaps all morning and that is what I grew up watching. I would love to live stream a very well done story using this game and you have convinced me to buy it. Thanks.

Wow, I will re-watch this over and over again - fantastic ! :D

Probably not my style, but a great review.

Thanks Kira. I think this could be the birthday present for my wife. She loves everything Jane Austin. You were brave working with Deathbringer. How dare he suggest killing off Mr Darcy!

What if the adventurers' patrons have their own "episodes" in polite society using this system! That would be so fun haha

Immersion broken by the gratuitous insertion of obviously non-English characters into 19th century England.
