Great video as always Professor, I had an absolute blast playing against both you and Elizabeth in Wingspan! (Even though I lost lol). Lastly, I hope you enjoy Kingdoms of Kalamar, I had a good time playing a demo of it, but my players will never not want to play 5e. Anyway, keep up the great work!

Tony Camaj

Looks like it was a blast. Gotta go back to GenCon; haven't been there since before the pandemic. Thanks for sharing some pictures and updates.👍

Seth Bunton

Love these videos. It was great playing in your games at Gen Con. I immediately went and bought a Yes/No/Maybe die and ran a game that weekend. My players loved that mechanic.

Christian Bynum

So much going on. You look like you had a lot of fun.

guitaRN.246

New game idea…DnDAARP…just survive (until retirement)

MrGunn

PDM, glad you and yours had a good time and are back safely. Thanks for sharing the details of your trip. I liked your loot, you cannot have La Terreur without a bunch of guillotines.

Jeff Krus

Please send some of that rain 🌧 here to Texas! We need it!.... and another great video by PDM..

Michael Nardi

When I see all these gencon pictures, the more I think that WOTC can go straight to hell. This hobby will do just fine without them.

Graham Kane

I’m jealous! One day I will get to Gencon myself….

Steven Bogart

I enjoyed your interviews on Dungeon Damsel and Me, Myself, and Die. I appreciate the time you gave to those smaller channels. Your community of RPG YouTubers seems very supportive.

Doug Bush

Thanks for that video of the con! Glad you guys had a blast.

GM James

Thank you so much for the video of gencon! I really wish I could have gone, but it was awesome to get to see it!

BrianV

Professor, did my miniature make it back with you? It was great to meet with you and sit in on the panel. Hope to see you next year at GenCon!

Mark Hanson

I couldn't make my finances work this year, but I am bent on going to GenCon next year, if only to run some games and get to meet some of my gaming heroes like you. I've already started saving, so unless something terrible happens I will be there one way or another.

John

Do you know if LotFP gave any kind of preview for the Referee Core Book? They told me they intended to have it completed by GenCon with printing to follow by end of the year. Just curious if they had anything to show.

SJBehindtheScreen

I stopped going in ‘06 but it’s amazing to see the crowds this year. Thanks for sharing this video. I agree the best part for me also was meeting and gaming with the folks I’d met or watched online. For a hobby that sometimes gets a bad rap for personalities there are MANY kind and generous people in it. And let’s hear it for the DDARP crew!

Mia Pepper

Thank you for sharing your experience! A great time to be had by all. I haven't been since the early 2000s and should go in 2024.

Glumer Games LLC

We’d love to have a booth there next year. Thanks for the great show and tell!

Yes inquiring minds want to know. Didn't hear anything on the official LOTFP channels.

Thanks for report on Gencon. Yep, Pirate Borg is pretty good. My favorite iteration of the Mork Borg family. Never heard of Legendary Realms. And now I shopping for some of their stuff. And I could go on.

So glad you had a great time, PDM, it looked like a lot of fun. I think you're right about BG3 - my friend and I got the early access version of the game a couple of years ago and it inspired us to grab a few more friends and start a DnD group. We're still playing now, it's the highlight of the week for the most of us.

Masterhit

Thousand dead babies is crazy. It's exactly what you expect from grim/gross LotFP stuff. Faith no More is an old favorite band of mine - saw them in a club in Florida many moons ago with a band named Helmet who I also liked. Angel Dust is the album that I love from them - their 'hit' album is pretty good, but Angel Dust is great! Mike Patton has a great voice IMHO. Such an amazing event. Can't wait to make it there one year. Big fan of Trevor's channel, glad to see the interview - great! Do you play Kingdom Death - or mostly gather the minis to paint? That game is on my list of pickups when I sell off enough of my collection to justify it :)

virtuadept

Don't forget that Faith No More was featured in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey ("The Perfect Crime"). While I agree it's an unusual choice for "Favorite Band of All TIme" they're a solid, great rock band, not just a one-hit wonder, IMHO. I am curious to read more about their RPG, just to see what it's about. Really cool video about Gen Con, thanks for sharing that!

Thank you for a fun, informative insight into Gen Con. I especially enjoyed seeing you interact with so many TTRPG YouTubers.
